SAFC1 Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 Arsenal have been superb this tournament, their name is as good as on the trophy IMO

I’d fancy our chances against Arsenal or Chelsea in the final for sure. I agree. Still maintain our best chance of ever qualifying for the CL again is by winning the Europa league rather than finishing top 4.

TheSomersetFox Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 That Arsenal front 2 is excellent. They guarantee 35-40 goals a season and are undoubtedly the reason Arsenal are not sat in 10th right now. They are the difference for that side.
irishfoxkev Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 Hmm left tv room for about 15 mins and just returned to see all to play for at the bridge and in Valencia but Arsenal’s 2nd away goal should be enough to see them thru
ScouseFox Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 been the most mentally week of footy, and to top it all off something i’d never thought i’d see, mesut ozil giving it some to the home fans
irishfoxkev Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 Aubameyang again 3 2 Arsenal 6 3 on agg .....gunners home and dry
irishfoxkev Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 Extra time penalties and couple of more injuries for Chelsea would be nice ahead of Sunday ??
UniFox21 Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 Taking off RLC is such a bad call, take off Kovacic, but leave on your goal threat.

spacemunky Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 Frankfurt seemed to run out of gas in the 2nd half. I think they would have made a more exciting final with Arsenal. Edit: For some reason I was thinking Chelsea were through with this result. D'oh!
TheSomersetFox Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 How can Arsenal go to Napoli and the Mestalla and win but get hammered weekly on the road over here
AKCJ Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 Kovacic is the absolute pits. Been an absolutely abysmal signing for Chelsea.

It's probably more respectable to say you've won a trophy and be an actual champion to qualify for CL as opposed to finishing 4th...

I get that they’d be more up for a Europa League knockout game but their away form in the league has been garbage for 2 years now. Has to be a mentality thing looking at their EL form
st albans fox Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 The English clubs have played with great intensity in Europe last couple rounds but Chelsea seem to be very leggy in comparison ......

Spurs looked extremely leggy for the first 40 mins at home against Ajax. How they weren't blown away by, at that stage, a far superior team, is a bit of a mystery.
