Not plausible to implement something for players already at the club but for new players it's obviously a request they live nearer and if that's unacceptable then the deal may collapse?

In fairness it would be a ruling that I agree with. Not meaning to pick on him as an individual but it can't be ideal for players like Simpson to travel in by club paid for taxi for over 2hrs there and back every day imo. The majority of our players when initially signed are hardly international superstars so if they want to earn the huge payrise that most of them get they should have to buy into the club and abide by its rules. We are no longer a wannabe up and coming small club, we're a multi million pound business that deserves respect. If it was good enough for Marhez, Kante and Vardy it's good enough for all of them That includes Schmeichel who until we came along was languishing in the lower reaches of football. If they don't like it, don't come. Should be made part of our new vision and revolution.

Legally speaking it would need to be in their contracts.

Where has it come from that Simpson gets a taxi paid by the club every day! That's outrageous if true hahahaa. Him, Schmeichel and a few ex Utd players of ours all would do the daily commute and I assume they still do? Kasper hasn't moved but perhaps Puel has asked him to and is part of their supposed needle?

Thought Simpson had bought himself some pimped out van that he got drove around in, he was splashing it around social media a while back I remember.

Simpson used to travel in and get there at around 8am for breakfast. Or at least he did when Shakespeare was in charge.

Kasper mentioned he had one in an interview a couple of years ago. But he also said he likes to drive to relax him on the way home.

Brazilian midget that's been in Ukraine for years.

Early on in his time in Europe he was regarded as a next big thing, linked to big clubs on and off.

Never really delivered though, never really developed. I don't like the "too small for the Premier league" argument most of the time but Bernard is very little.

Being little never stopped Giles or Bremner being among the best midfielders of their time.

I went down there just before the end of the season and a fair few of them have the merc vans and are driven in. Simpson, Vardy and KS do still for sure.

I actually don't think we'll get anyone of first team quality. There's probably no one who'll realistically come here. We need to work with what we've got and hope for the best.

You're fastly becoming one of the most negative posters on here, I admire your work. Welcome to the family.

I think you’re right nobody of any quality will ever come to Leicester again, despite the chance to play in the premier league and earn ludicrous amounts of money

Yes I am getting a bit negative I must stop. But what I mean is that it will be hard to get someone in that improves on our first team 3 behind Vardy.

Iheanacho has potential but not quite hit it yet

Albrighton is Albrighton

Maddison will play

Diabate is probably our weakest but has potential

Gray will play

Musa who knows?

Slimani is still here

Ulloa is still here and can play well with Vardy

And there's probably others too.

Puel might just go with what he has.

As I said, mine was old news and have no idea on what happens now.
