Langston Posted 25 August 2018 Posted 25 August 2018 Bournemouth - Everton sounded way more exciting than Wolves - Man City and Liverpool - Brighton were.

Can see why Man City is higher as from the commentary I heard was a tight and close game. But Liverpool was a scrappy, scrappy game

davieG Posted 1 September 2018 Author Posted 1 September 2018 What a one side review of the game that was all Liverpool their pluses and mistakes it's like they were playing a ghost team.

Wonder if anyone not at the game will have noticed that almost all of the Liverpool highlights were from the first half.
sm1 Posted 1 September 2018 Posted 1 September 2018 Exactly are we an invisible team. We played the better football, made Liverpool look ordinary, yet not one mention of us.
Stadt Posted 1 September 2018 Posted 1 September 2018 Just now, sm1 said: Exactly are we an invisible team. We played the better football, made Liverpool look ordinary, yet not one mention of us. Not really true, they had the better opportunities. Still no excuse for how one sided MOTD was
Sunbury Fox Posted 1 September 2018 Posted 1 September 2018 How did Lineker allow that to happen? That was the most ridiculous analysis ever. Shearer claiming Liverpool were in cruise control! You just know that it would have been called terrible defending if we'd scored the goals Liverpool did.

This, Liverpool cruise control wtf Was Shearer even there ? , ffs they want to get there facts right before babbling shit
HighPeakFox Posted 1 September 2018 Posted 1 September 2018 As mentioned elsewhere, I asked Gary how Leicester played, because I have nothing to go on from that.

Gray’s wasn’t even a half chance and we scored from a huge error. We had more of the more ball but Liverpool were the better team.
Captain... Posted 1 September 2018 Posted 1 September 2018 It was really important that they told us that Mane, Salah and Firmino are a devastating dynamic attacking force, I hadn’t noticed that before.

Wouldn't say there was a "better" team today. A point each would've been a fair result. Salah was largely ineffective, wouldn't say Firminho was much better.

For pity`s sake Stadt your the only one who isn`t in agreement here, the coverage was appallingly biased and totally one sided, they hardly mentioned us at all, they babbled on and on about Gomez and England but failed to mention Chilwell, Maddison and Gray who were all superb today, we had more possession more shots, more shots on target and the same amount of corners and their first goal was a total fluke, they were NOT the better team and we deserved something from the game !

It's not about who was the better team it's about showing a true reflective review of the game that wasn't in any definition I've ever seen of those words.

Their first was an error from Pereira and the second was Maddison standing idly as Firming scored. Certainly don't agree Liverpool were the better team or in cruise control as Shearer implied.
tsintskaro Posted 1 September 2018 Posted 1 September 2018 So,team is leading 0:2,they give you ball and let you play football, you are trying and actually doing fine, but not that much chances to score they make error, you score and after that you have momentum for few minutes. Then Keita comes in and everything goes back to normal,no more ball for you Yes,we did okay in second half,we were playing football but thats all because they let us do that Klopp is playing more pragmatic football and thats how it works - they score and then they chill its funny people saying we were dominant.no,we were not, sadly.
