Awful MOTD.

Also, anyone else notice that there hasn't been a sniff about Youri on MOTD yet? I'm surprised. Maybe Gary has told them all to keep quiet.

During the title win kante didn't get spoke about for a while even though we were all raving about him . They'll do the same here and make out they were the first to notice how good he is?

I reckon though we are the most represented team on TV with ex-player pundits.

Lineker

Dublin

Upson

Keown

Savage

Smith

Claridge

O'Neill

Heskey

And Kaamark on Swedish TV.

Feel like I might have missed a few.

You could add Lee Hendrie if loans count

Gabby Logan, Dion Dublin and Alex Scott is up there with the worst MOTD panels of all time.

Dion in particular is a shocking pundit.

It can't be the worst because Martin Keown isn't on. I think people often just criticise pundits as an automatic thing, but most of them aren't as terrible as they're made out to be. But if you actually listen to Keown, he says absolutely nothing. Where as most pundits try and point some tactical thing out, like Dublin highlighting Maddison picking up space, Keown just describes what's just happened, like "The balls come to him there and he's just hit into the back of the net." Great insight Martin.

All those pundits and yet we’re still a “counter-attacking team who sit deep” according to most of them

As in  the song, we play from the back, with counterattack

Martin Keown always comes up with weird analogies for things as well. During the World Cup, every 6ft+ striker was constantly referred to "he's like a backboard in basketball in't he, everything bounces off him, it's unbelievable isn't it really."

Obvs. not an ex-player, but Manish Bhasin is a City supporter too.

Only lineker (in the pundits) is ........the number of pundits linkable to us probbaly reflects how often we buy and sell players  !

I def agree - would have added a like, but - grr... Oh well, I guess it's a good sign that I've run out of reps for the day :D

Thank god they didn't feature us, and particularly Tielemans Mendy.

I'm worrying every time, erm, Papy looks to shoot. One worldie off of each foot and we are toast, and you know he (Mendy that is, obvs) has it in his locker.
