Turns out this habit of our fans writing players off after joining a new club they haven't seen much of, actually stretches to writing off players they have seen enough of lol

I only saw the highlights of Arse/ManCity but from what I saw I thought he played ok. Was involved in a few good moves, and forced a good save from Cech.

The thing that still pisses me off about him going to Man City is that Man City clearly don't need him. It's like they bought him just because they could.

I don't get these type of threads. Mahrez is one of the best (if not the best) players I have ever seen in a Leicester shirt. We would not have won the league without him and he'll forever be a legend to me just on that season alone.

I really hope he does well at Man city, and I think he will have an amazing season once he settles in. He deserves his shot at the best, just like Kante did for Chelsea.

Couldn't really care less to be honest. Don't wish ill upon him and would be happy to see him do well but either way it doest matter in the slightest.

It might be a tough season for him. You can never say never but I don't see him failing. He'll get games either way and once Man City are fully into their stride, the space available to the forward players is incredible. They pull teams all over the place. Under those circumstances, I can't see Mahrez not having a telling contribution. Whether he's good enough to hold off the competition from Sane, who's also a very good player, time will tell but, if he plays, I think he'll do very well.

And we're discussing this after what? One league appearance for them?

Sorry, but I really think there's some mileage in this "less than 500 posts and you can't start a new thread" thing.

Yeah he looked miserable when he was subbed because he wanted to score or assist and didn't. He always looked the same when subbed for us. It's too early to tell if he'll fail or succeed, but even if he fails he won't be coming back here.

I'd rather start 25 games a season, finish top, win trophies and play in the Champions League than start every game for a mid table side.

pull ur heads out of ur arse, it was there to see if u open ur eyes. i was just making note of what i seen.

It's one game I think you should perhaps allow him a bit of time before declaring him a total failure after 55 minutes.

You won't be doing either.
