Shandy Bass I think still pops up in off licenses but I don't think the big supermarkets stock it anymore. Just make your own, get some nice lemonade like R Whites and a smidge of lager, job done

I might end up doing that. I found something called Ben Shaws Bitter Shandy in a larger Sainsbro's. It's OK, but not as good as those big, long tins of Shandy Bass that I remember buying years back. You could get it practically everywhere. I'm sure the petrol stations even had it on the pumps. I dunno whether it has just become unpopular, or whether it's now just frowned upon to put anything even vaguely alcoholic among the soft drinks.

Probably a bit of both, it's definitely not a trendy drink among kids these days despite how nice it is. Plus that Shandy Bass can design hasn't been updated in about 40 years, and I think only Coca Cola can get away with that. I think Morrisons (?) sell 6-packs of their own shandy but from what I remember it just tastes like tainted lemonade

Irn Bru.

Was in Scotland last year and they do Irn Bru in MacDonalds. Big Mac meal with an Irn Bru on a hangover, incredible scenes.

I didn't know that. I've still never been north of the border.

I can believe it, though. Apparently, Scotland is the only country in the world where Coke isn't the most popular fizzy drink.

Every so often I’ll have a Monster drink. My favourite is the black/green can version (green writing on black background)

I know it’s shit stuff but oh... the taste!

Lilt but only in a can.

Fanta lemon when abroad.

Literally this.

Don't mind a Blood Orange SP though.

After seeing this topic a hundred times, I've finally stopped reading it as "what's the nicest poop" I blame the fart thread for that.

As for pop, cloudy lemonade, love the stuff, on hot summers day I can down by the litre. I also have a severe lucozade addiction, but I'm not sure if that counts as pop.

First time I saw this topic listed and created by webbo thought it was going to be talking about music from the 80's. The second time I thought he'd had problems within the family.

Have you tried the Ultra Violet one? Very distinct, and decent considering it's sugar free

I'm sure it's been mentioned... but those pop trucks that used to drop off your pop like the milkman dropped off your milk was all a bit odd lol

I'd forgotten all about that! I remember the leaflet you'd get through your door - lemonade, limeade, cherryade, etc. I suppose it does make sense if you've ever had to walk or bike to the shops. The bags are only heavy because of the 4 litres of liquid sugar. All the way back you're thinking, "What's wrong with you? You know that water comes out of a tap at home? You'd better fuching enjoy that fizzy piss."

I've just remembered something else. Orange juice in a glass milk bottle. Weird.

I'd completely forgotten about that. What a strange vessel to put orange juice in.
