Probably rose coloured specs, but years ago wouldn’t a few quite thinking wits have started a “Wesley Morgan is a blue chant”?  Don’t even need to be near the idiot to do it- immediate embarrassment and perks up Wes if he had heard the prats rubbish.

I alway try and imagine what it must be like to stand there and shout something like that?  It's like when you see a car drive by really fast and loud and you think "how on Earth can anyone think that makes them look anything but an idiot?  Who do they think they are impressing and what is wrong in their personal lives to make them so strange?".

I always think pre season, it’s tome for Morgan to go, surely he’s finished.. and then he turns up and looks as good as ever. I thought he was largely brilliant yesterday, the odd hairy moment but on the whole he was fine. To be honest he’s probably got one more season at this level..... even if it’s bit part.

Some at the ground and here are determined to undermine the team before they've even kicked a ball each game.

You only need to look at the comments when the team is announced each week. FFS get behind the team and Puel and let's give them a chance. And before someone pipes up I'm not always happy with the way things go but that's football and thats what comes with supporting Leicester. Despite us winning the PL we are not Liverpool, ManU or one of the top six we are fighting with Watford, Everton, Burnley and Southampton for the scraps at the moment. But signs are good.

As soon as the players chosen to wear the blue shirt cross the white line, our part of the deal is to get 110% behind them, and support them.....regardless of the individuals selected. Surely we support the team?

I thought Morgan played well yesterday. Certainly a lot better than Evans last week. Couldn't believe how sluggish JE was. Hope it's just because he's not fully fit, because if not, he will be an absolute liability.

Morgan was involved in a foot race towards the left corner yesterday and beat his opponent. Looked as pacey as he's ever been.

Apologies if this is already a topic. I was at the southampton game yesterday and just before kick off someone behind me shouted and told morgan to fvck off. I just find this completely ludicrious. This is the guy who captained us to our greatest success - winning the pl. I'll admit I'm not morgans biggest fan but the guy deserves better than prats like the so-called fan yesterday. The game hadn't even started and morgans getting stick. Some of our fans really do have short term memories.

bloody right, coming to the end, but what a club Legend, show more respect to a legend

Heard Michael Calvin, journalist and author talk about how he detests the way fans had made criticism and stick overly personal. The rise of social media has killed all balance

Might have said this before but the reason why some of our fans scapegoat Morgan stems from as far back as when we signed him when Pearson came back. They thought he wasn't good enough for a championship side aiming for promotion. They were proven completely wrong but they still don't like him. It's weird but something I've definitely noticed since he's been here imo. His time is obviously coming to an end with the signings we've made but while they're getting up to speed fitness wise he's fine as a pair with Maguire at this stage of the season.

Wes is a legend. Deserves all the respect in the world. Yes, due to age he is coming towards end of his career with us but we owe him the respect to allow him to bow out gracefully. The best million pound signing in last decade.

idiots will always be part of any fan base. The grass is always greener for some apparently

Jamie Vardy might disagree.

Personally think Morgan and a few a past their best, we have brought in younger, hopefully better and hungrier players, and when the manager sees fit intergrate them into the side.

Wouldn’t give abuse to our players I don’t rate at the ground, and a few old heads around can help the younger lads, but that isn’t to say I’d start Morgan, Simpson etc, they are or should be squad players.

If I remember right, Morgan, Simpson, Okazaki are all out of contract at the end of the season, so happy to keep them around this season, but would let their contracts expire at the end of the season, time to move forward.

What I saw from Morgan yesterday was a man with a point to prove. There was a moment when he sprinted a huge distance and closed down a marauding player and got to him before he swung in a dangerous corner. I had to double check who it was who was galloping at speed, and I can hold my hands up and admit that it was unexpected. But it was him, and he had a more than decent a game.

This attitude against Morgan is insane. Despite the occasional mistake and his age against him. It's embarrassing to hear or hear about fickle 'supporters' who are so keen to pay disrespect and are so virulent in vocalising this or sharing on social media.

This is our CAPTAIN. Still our captain. Whilst this is certainly that his time with our club is coming to it's coming to it's conclusion, with the club putting plans to transition the right man to take up his mantle, why sour this with unnecessary spite?

I'd like to see a Morgan who wants to push his replacement for his position, and take the chances he gets with appetite, cos that a benchmark that should be set for the rest of the team. A captain until his last.

What I don't want to see is a player who is dejected and disillusioned by a small minority, and he wants to leave the club shaking his head with a sense of incredulity after all he has done for this club.

FFS fix up!

Good point. One of the best million pound signings in the last decade.

Both have been integral to our rise! Great business.

Think you will find that every club has fans who are always looking for scapegoats game after game but to get on a player's back before the game has even kicked off is ridiculous. Fans have always done it I remember when David Oldfield was here someone who sat near me at games always got on his back before he had even touched the ball and his favourite saying was I see Oldfield is marking grass again. By all means critisise players but leave it until after the game.

I think the problem is people make there mind up and can't change it. Many decided a few years ago he was past it, too old, and each season he comes back and proves them wrong, but their mind is made up and they can't see or accept he may have a bit more left in the tank. The longer he is able to play for us the better as it will enable a smoother transition for us to bed the younger defenders into the team and club.

I've never understood why some fans are so quick to be abusive to players like Morgan and Schmeichel. Especailly after what they have achieved here.

People talk about Morgan as if he's in the same category as the likes of Benalouane or Lee Marshall (remember him?). Even now, he may not be first choice every match, but he's still a reliable defender at this level.

too right reg. it's  just that some people are thick and don't understand what the word supporter means.

There is a moron in block A1 about row S or T who comes out with vermin every match he is a complete moron and his mates/family all laugh along with him. If I knew his seat number I would put it on here
