Maybe it is the right thread cis everyone saying it doesn't matter what Puel says is f***ing deluded. Comes out with the same shit after this debacle and I'm done with the bloke to be honest.

I was refraining from posting in this thread, but today seems a good reason to outline my problems with his dialogue.

Ok it might be sound bites, cliches or 'they all say the same things' but last season when we went through a disatrous run I wanted to hear and understand what the **** he was doing, I couldn't see what he was doing, understand his vision, so I wanted things explaining, like today, i'll want things explaining, i'd like a debate what he's said for the good or bad, the excuses, what went wrong and how he plans to fix it, I'd like him to come out and stand up for himself and I want to give him the opportunity to defend himself when things aren't going right.

I simply can't do that because I can't understand him and/or he sends me to sleep.

I admit this is me waving a stick to poke him with but its where I stand, it's ultimately fact.

Listening to the manager in the past, notably NP, has been the link to fans, I mentioned it last season but i'm not sure i've ever felt so distant and disillousioned with the management, team, and pretty much the whole club.

The point I was trying to make was that you need to be careful what you wish for. You can get a media darling like holloway who comes out with great sound bites but is an average manager or someone like puel/pearson who imo don't care how they come across in media. It's quite simple don't listen to his interviews.

OK, fair enough, I see your point.  :)

Listen to today's interview.....I mean come on someone tell me I'm wrong but the guy talks utter shit. Started game with good intentions??!! What other intentions are we going to have???

Then says it's strange and a difficult feeling??? What the f### does he mean by that? I'm sorry but can we have Mike Stowell interviewed instead....at least he shows passion so much so he got sent to the stands

You want him to give away our lineup and tactics to our next opponents?

Wish he'd give our lineup (formation) and tactics to his own team - may help more than simply repeating qualitee qualitee qualitee

Love people on here saying they don't like him because of his accent and not wanting to say too much to the media

What do you want him to do? Single out players? Say -name- missed 3 chances?

He talks about the team as a team, says minimal needed for the job and get a back working with the team.

People need to realise we won't win every game and as long as he gets his point across to the players and they do as he says do you care about his post match interview?

I don’t really get the thing with interviews. I honestly can’t believe people take much notice of them. It’s cliche after cliche regardless of manager - each bloke as their same lines trotted out, see Dyche and Hughes

I know it's been mentioned a lot on here and agreed by fellow members in particular today, but if I was French I'd be annoyed in being judged in a way that the accent makes me 'peculiar' - such as criticism in saying 'qualitiee', 'contistenciee' etc.

Ranieri used to pronounce certain words like that, but he wasn't moaned at for the way he said things - even when the team eventually struggled under him.

Maybe don't watch or listen to his interviews.

Some of us have to interview him... it's like pulling teeth to be honest. I'm sure he's a nice bloke and all that but still...

I find it odd that he rarely answers the question he is actually asked.  So he actually avoids giving the answers to issues which many of us see need addressing,  Buy 3 new CB’s and maintain same old, same old needs explaining. Bringing in players for the future is excellent, but puzzling if you will not be around personally to them play??

Helping our Celtic whilst you are being shagged over by Eddie Howe seems bizarre to me.
