Allez Allez Allez song, get on it

A few years ago I shared this footage of Napoli fans, singing this epic. (Tune comes from an 80’s Italian pop song)

 

Atletico Madrid and Porto ultras picked it up from Napoli.  Then unfortunately Liverpool got it off the Porto fans and have done there own version, Liverpool’s words are a bit basic but it’s a tune!

 

I think we should have our own version as a tribute to Ranieri.  Also we need a new song, the place seems to have lost its spark since then Champions League run and Ranieri always needs to be remembered, the Italian link seems apt.

 

Below are the words get on it, when you sing it in the tune it works.

 

We had the great escape

No. Un giorno all’improvisso has been completely bastardised by the scousers. The original L’Aquila version is better but the Napoli version is simply a beautiful, haunting song. I’d like to hear Bocelli sing it one day.

This tune is everywhere now, as pointed out (as pointed out in the OP). Europe, South America...Hell, it’s been sung at MLS games for a few years.

 

I don’t want to tell anybody how to support their team, but I don’t understand this obsession with European ultras going on with English fans. Singing “Allez, allez” in a Leicester-Southampton game, for example, just seems like poseur stuff.

 

Besides, you have a plethora of ‘80s pop songs to choose from!

They're the single worst fanbase in the country for singing the latest fad. I'm assuming they do have some original chants but I've genuinely never heard them sing one at our place or theirs

You don't need validation to come up with a new just because Liverpool fans don't sing it. Create something original!
