If I could give each and every one of you a hug, I would. I was devestated to hear the news about the crash. Any club in the world would be honoured to have someone like Vichai at the head of their club. He's helped create some special memories for you lot including winning the Premier League as well as the work he's put into the surrounding community.

 

I wish you lot all the strength in the world and will be thinking of you lot over the coming days.

Gazzetta now reporting that Vichai and Top died on board, although UK media seemed to have confirmed that Top wasn't at the game.

Absolutely tragic whoever was on board the plane. Hoping that somehow they are okay. Regardless of the situation, I just wanted to say these owners have been fantastic and have transformed our club to a global brand

Just awful - brought back memories of Mathew Harding - I remember when Hazard scored I was delighted for Ranieri and Leicester - fantasy football brought to life during a sensational football season. Foreign media are reporting that your Chairman and his daughter have been killed. Whether its true or 'fake news' I am so so sorry.

I think that's probably a bridge we'd need to cross if and when it comes to it, but if it does end up being the case, I can think of something that would hopefully be in line with the ideals Vinchai and his family held themselves to. One for the morning, perhaps (although if there's any luck at all it won't be needed).

The interview happened a fair time before the helicopter took off at 8:30! So many rumours but this is ridiculous tbh! Can’t believe it and keep hearing conflicting reports

What a shocking end to the day to get home after the game and see this news.  The only comfort is seeing the incredible support on here from football fans from so many other clubs.

Sheffield United supporter here. What shocking news this is - I am so sorry to hear of what has happened this evening.

 

I am sure I speak on behalf of all of the supporters of our Football club when I say this, but I really do hope and pray everyone is OK. This puts everything else into perspective. The rest of the Football world unites as it always does in times of terrible tragedy.

 

To LCFC and the city of Leicester - both sides of Sheffield (United and Wednesday) are with you, and the rest of the Football world is with you all.

All of this seems so surreal, I don't ever think this will sink in for any of us, as many have said we all regard those involved at the club, whatever capacity, as family, OUR FAMILY, I haven't said a word for the last 3 hours ?
