Have to say it is absolutely heart warming the sheer number of football fans from around the country and even further afield that have come on here tonight and express their support and sadness. It's easy in the modern world with all that goes on to just blasé everything away, turn a blind eye to shit you're not interested in and just generally stop caring. My faith in humanity is restored and always seems to me that football will forever unite people in so many ways.

Hope you all report that to Ofcom when it turns out to be wrong, which I'm sure it is..... I mean..... that needs a record number of Ofcom mistakes if that is wrong, seriously.

Wolves fan here. 

 

Have read this thread from page 1 and it's heartbreaking, I couldn't not comment. 

 

Closely related are Wolves and Foxes but closer still are football supporters in times of hardship. Living in Derby I have a bit more exposure to LCFC and the wider work of the family. It's impossible not to be impressed at what they've achieved at Leicester City and bestowed upon the city. 

 

I can imagine tonight's news has been paralysing, not just for the supporters of the football club but citizens of the city itself. 

 

We have a motto round our way "out of darkness cometh light" we are all with you and hopefully that will continue to be some sort of comfort for you.

Old guy here blubbering away fearing the worst. I really can't  take this in at the moment. Thank you to all the fans of other clubs out there for your kind words. Football has a strange way of kicking you in the balls sometimes. You look at the panic, insults and vitriol in the match thread and then this happens. I'm  not sure what my point is, only that it's only football any it pales into insignificance in times like this. Here's  to hoping against hope. God bless and stay strong our LCFC community.

All I'm saying though is that if that is wrong, which it more than likely is, then that needs a formal apology from the BBC and people should complain to Ofcom.... because I can't see anybody saying that they swiftly corrected their error which is what they usually do when a producer screams at them down their earpiece.

I cannot believe how emotional this is, I don't know what is wrong with me. Just tuned into Stringer on 5Live, did a good job. Tanner is on now.

 

Whenever we next play I just cannot comprehend how difficult it'll be.

Just joined up to say thoughts of the Football World and beyond are with you tonight

Awful tragedy involving people who have brought you much joy

 

Thoughts with all those affected , there is a thread on our own forum and can safely say I send on behalf of our fans as one

Bit extreme that mate. She can only relay the information she's given, and if it was a genuine mistake just give her a break, she's trying to report on a sensitive on-going issue with very little to go on
