Don't often hear other fans cheering on their manager in appreciation.

Would rather have decent songs about the club itself, and a few on the players (both of which are already in circulation and done well if it's at the right moment and many sing them).

but we still look giddy

As I wrote; Maddison has been a **** and dived. Nevertheless as the manager Puel is responsible for the deeds and performances of the players, whether it be Morgan, Maddison or whoever.

Puel can’t be held responsible for the split-second decisions that players make like choosing to dive or lunge in...they’re empowered to make those decisions for themselves. 

 

If we were sat here discussing players being sent-off for abusing the ref or kicking the ball away then I would agree that the manager needs to shoulder some blame, as it would suggest poor temperament / attitude. 

 

I don’t think we’re going to agree but that’s fine.

If you read this thread back, you’ll see that this is isn’t even what we’re discussing.

 

We’re talking about whether he should take the blame for players getting themselves sent off for diving / rash challenges (Maddison and Morgan specifically)
