Disaster waiting to happen. Mini Klopp would get us to 4th pushing for 3rd, it’s a no brainer literally
Gubbins Posted 14 January 2019 Posted 14 January 2019 Whoever we got it would be a complete gamble. The much trumpeted Howe could come here and be a disaster and wed crash into a relegation trouble. Wagner looks a terrible idea in my opinion but maybe he'd just fit here and he'd do alright. But that's the rub, he'd do alright. Midtable maybe 7th with some luck. We'd still look crap at times still struggle to beat ultra defensive sides. Manager might be more charasmatic but that would probably be the main difference. Maybe it's the fact I'm not a gambler but as it stands there's no way we should risk the appointing someone who could get us into a relegation scrap because the manager is a bit quiet and dull.
whoareyaaa Posted 14 January 2019 Posted 14 January 2019 Wagner would be a risk no guarantee he would be any better than Puel

LinekersApples Posted 15 January 2019 Posted 15 January 2019 Puel = comfyish pair slippers. Ever so slightly disappointing, but ok at doing the job. Every now and again, hugely appreciated for a brief time. Wagner = reebok pump or puma disc. (Youngsters ask your Dads)
Dahnsouff Posted 15 January 2019 Posted 15 January 2019 werthers original VS chewing gum? Cue "If managers were confectionery" thread...

Plays attacking & clearly knows how to find a decent player.

Ric Flair Posted 15 January 2019 Posted 15 January 2019 It'll be Wagner either towards the end of the season or in the summer. Rudkin will be loving it.

You'd have thought he'd have been employed by a big club by now if he's as good as people are saying. Or could it be he's problematic in some way?
ferry67 Posted 15 January 2019 Posted 15 January 2019 Ones to watch for the future are the Cowley Bros at Lincoln, my lad plays there, they are mustard! their attention to detail is excellent, great with the lads as well

Get them in now. Attention to detail and good with the lads. Can't be beaten and much better than French moutard I suspect. 66% on here will be well chuffed.

He was sacked as Monaco manager as they was selling all there best players & not giving him any money to spend on replacements. Imagine having players like them leave & nothing to replace them with. Any manager would struggle even Henry hasn't turned it around
