Wymsey Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Adolf Hutter. Plays a similar style that Ranieri made the team to play during the title-winning season.

EverybodyDannsNow Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Appleton in until the end of the season. Players know and like him. He'll be able to motivate them and steer us clear of trouble. Then move for Brendan Rodgers in the summer. People may turn their nose up at him because of the 'David Brent' persona tag he's been given in this country but he's a good manager who likes to play positive, possession-based football with young players. The perfect fit in my opinion.

Chrissymp Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 At least someone that will motivate the Players, to stop barn dancing them every Match into different positions. Play to our strengths with passion and pride and have ambition.

Appleton would be fine then make sure we have someone lined up for summer Appleton makes sense - if he would come. Knows the club and players, did ok for the short period he stepped in before, available, might see it as an ideal shop window for himself.

Edit - Just types up and saw his Hibs talks broke down
Scotch Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 So many people on here want Rodgers because of his "attacking style" so let's play a game..... The following are comments from our fans about us and Puel mixed with comments from Celtic fans about Rodgers and Celtic from their FB.... Who's are who? "Flat, boring, pedestrian. Just depressing to watch. zero urgency to get at them and our set pieces are amongst the worst I’ve ever seen" "A team full of pass backs starting to annoy me" "Genuinely mind numbing to watch most games - death by back and side ways passing !!" "omg so frustrated watching this, cut out the slow backward passes, theres no point having the majority of possession if you are not doing anything with it ... come on ....." "Bored too tears no plan b" Go.....

Does it matter ? As long as he gets the players putting in a shift and isnt going to be considered long term, whatever the rest of the campaign brings . 1 hour ago, Claridge said: Unless it’s for money, I don’t get why Rogers would come to us Money - yes and where else will he go ? 1 hour ago, lcfceaves said: I think we just need a short term appointment but not make the mistake again of then giving them the job full time just because we’ve had a response otherwise we’ll be sacking again 10-12 games of next season. Go for Rodgers or Dyche. Surely now is the perfect time to get a new manager in... it means they can work with our current players and make a decent assessment of who they want to keep and where we need to improve in the summer? Dyche wont leave Burnley for the next season or two. Rogers won’t leave Celtic until the title is won.
Monsell1976 Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Vardy or kasper or which ever one is running the training ground ?
ozvaldo Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Were the board there today? Their seats looked empty to me.

LestaAl Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Anyone who is a leader, in the short term that’s all we need. ..long term decisions can wait until the summer.
Gubbins Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 We may as well go for Large Samuel at this point. He can organise a defence (even one that includes Maguire and or Morgan) and get us hoofing again which will keep vardy happy! Seriously though we will struggle to bring in anyone decent on a til the end of the season basis so it's good we only need a couple more wins as the new manager bounce should be able to achieve that before it inevitably tails off.

leicesterseddon Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 I have a horrible feeling it would be Wagner. We we were apparently in for him a couple of years ago, and he’d be cheap(ish), which I suspect is a priority just now...
