RowlattsFox Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 Could see Rowett on a short term deal, have we not looked at him before? he will probably do well get the job and be shit next season and we’re back where we started. Only desperate or youngish managers are going to agree to a short term deal.
Big Dave Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 Big Sam until the summer whilst we search for a new long term boss. He will stabilise us as we seem to be in free fall at the moment. Dont want him long term, but he is the best person for our position.
whetstonefox Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 I think the board just wanted to get this season out of the way, hoping we’d stay in mid table obscurity then get a new manager in the summer. Lose to Brighton & panic may take over. Even though relegation is unlikely it is now case of looking down at the table rather than up.
Shefffox2 Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 Micheal Appleton till the end of the season, knows the club, players, and has 100% win rate, or at least make him 1st team coach and move Claude upstairs as general manager/ Dof . Short term that would take away some of the fans fustration with Puel, which is clearly now affecting the players confidence on the pitch.. Also this scenario would give a bit more stability to the club in what has been a very difficult season for obvious reasons.
lcfcell Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 After sleeping on it I still don’t think he’s going anywhere, and you know what I don’t even care anymore, the season was over in January.

Not sure he's the man for us.

z-layrex Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 Doesn't really matter does it. Who ever we appoint will have anything they build collapse when Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool buy all our best players.
La-li-lu-le-lo Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 Fair few journalists are stating Rodgers is set to land the job. Would he walk away from Celtic at this stage of the season?
Tielemans63 Posted 24 February 2019 Author Posted 24 February 2019 Can't wait for the reaction on here when Pearson gets it until the end of the season I really think he might btw
