Whatever happens in these last few overs its been a bizarre day.

 

Woakes hardly used, Root begging for the ball to be changed constantly then doesn't even take the new ball when available, fielding positions, Root bowling with the new ball after just 5 overs!!

Got to admire them for that, they could have settled for a draw which might have felt like a win from the position they were in, but they don't play like that, they'd rather risk losing if it meant a chance to win, would we do the same? 

 

Hope we don't bottle it as it would be one of the worst defeats I've seen in a while.

Great day at the cricket yesterda, minus the cricket itself. I feel like everytime I blink I can see Joe Root and Joe Denly bowling and Steve Smith hitting fours.

 

Really hope the pitch plays the same and we don't crumble to Lyon and co.
