Actually, I'd definitely go and watch a game between the Nottingham Strikebreakers and the Yorkshire Scabsmashers.

They couldn't even go 24 hours this time without another PR fvck up being exposed.

Anyway, World Cup time! Let's enjoy Summer 2019 and forget what's to come next year!

England really need to open their shoulders these last 10 overs or they ain't gonna post a big enough total

I think we’re going to end up about 50 short here. The bowlers need to dig us out of a hole unless Ben Stokes can do some Ben Stoke things.

311 it is. Didn't look like they'd get there at some point but still feels short. Very much in the balance.

Amla always seems to score big in England so will need to get him early.

Just seen that Rashid ball that nearly got QdK out.

Think that's as close to a wicket that i've ever seen.

Good start with the ball. Archer really is what our attack has been missing. Wonder if he’ll get a go in the Test side

Think we'd be mad not to to be honest. The test side hasn't had genuine pace at a good quality for ages.

Chris Tremlet doing the equivalent of hitting both posts and the crossbar whilst on a hat-trick takes some beating.

I'd stick him in. Hard to know who to drop though. I'd probably - and harshly - drop Woakes to begin with.

Having seen a few people I know have gone today, I really wish I'd managed to get tickets to more than two games.

So excited about Archer.
