weller54 Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 Let's move on quickly and try to forget the Newcastle debacle.... With 7th place gone will the players be on the beach? Will Rodgers experiment with the line up and system now?.. Will we get another point on the board this season?... If so it has to be from this game. 0-0. Evans back for Maguire I hope. Caglar in for Wes (but won't happen!). Gray not in the squad (I hope).
Japanfox Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 I'm pretty optimistic about this one. I'll say it'll be a close 3-2 win for us. Hopefully Barnes will be on the score sheet LTID

Bezzanator89 Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 Given where West Ham are this season and they're at home in front of their own fans, am not expecting them to sit back and counterattack like Newcastle did yesterday. They will try to play their way and have a go, and that will suit us a lot better with the team we have. Can see this being quite an entertaining encounter with neither team coming out on top. 2-2 from me.

Then BR needs to choose the players who are going to get out on the pitch and try. Again I'll put my lineup, knowing there is no chance of it being the one: Ward Ricardo Evans Soyunco Chilwell Hamza N'didi (or Mendy) Tielemans Maddison Barnes Iheanacho (or Vardy) Bench : NOT okazaki, not Fuchs, not simpson, not Morgan

Ted Maul Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 Playing West Ham will suit us better than Newcastle- they're even more naive that we are at home. If we play well, we should get something.
Nicolo Barella Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 1 hour ago, lgfualol said: I think flip flops will be firmly on. 3-1 loss. Don't forget, they're on the beach as well.
Nicolo Barella Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 I would love Evans and Soyuncu, but realistically we'll probably only get one. If Morgan starts again against their pacy squad and after the performance his partnership with Maguire had yesterday, I will be convinced that he has Rodgers by the balls the same way he had Puel by the balls.
Gazza M Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 I don't think there is any need for knee jerk reactions after one bad result. I do think he needs to pick a side with players who are going to feature next year now. We could perhaps have a bit of sentiment maybe v Chelsea last day with a farewell to Fuchs, Simpson, Okazaki etc. If fit I would like to see Albrighton start ahead of Gray and Jonny Evans come back for Morgan as Morgan/Maguire doesn't work. Would expect it to be high scoring as both sides nothing really to play for.
Sunbury Fox Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 I'd go: Kasper Ricardo Evans Maguire Chilwell Ndidi Marc Maddison Tielemans Barnes Vards
Sammy Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 Where do people/away fans drink for West Ham now it's moved to the Olympic Stadium?
copunk Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 Its gonna be alot more open thats for sure, it was classic rafa last night

H.a.r.r.y Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 Kasper Ricardo Morgan Soyuncu Chilwell Hamza Ndidi Marc/Ghezzal Maddison Barnes Vardy

Analysethis Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 Im with those saying Hamza should get starts but I just cant see it happening, especially as he hardly makes the bench under BR.
foxfan92 Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 Probably alone in this thinking but I'd like to try this. Kasper Ricardo Maguire Evans Soyuncu Chilwell Ndidi Maddison Tielemans Barnes Vardy I think Maguire in a back 3 would ease burden on Ndidi, 3 at back will allow us to cover either fullback if out of position and one of the 3 behind Vardy could pull out wide depending which wing the ball is coming down with the other fullback giving width down the other wing, while we still have effectively 2 players in number 10 role behind Vardy.
HybridFox Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 Kasper Perreira Morgan Evans Chilwell Choudhury N'Didi Maddison Tielemans Albrighton Vardy
st albans fox Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 They looked to have recovered their mojo in that second half at OT Hopefully they will be a bit deflated by the result
