brucey Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 Depends how Watford do with their game in hand, if Watford win and 7th is totally out of the question I suspect we’ll play better
Sunbury Fox Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 This will be a very tough game. They've been very good at home this season and I thought they played well, despite losing, today. They look extremely dangerous from corners, which given our lack of height could be a major issue.
Dan Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 You could see literally any result in this and that includes a heavy win for either team. I'll go somewhere in the middle. 2-2.
Aus Fox Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 And 7th is back on, win this and they are 8 behind with 3 to play and we pretty much confirmed a top 10 finish, which is outstanding when you think of the season we’ve had and everything that has happened to our club. Full strength team, they will try to attack us at home, expect Vardy to have a field day. 3-2 win Vardy 2 and Barnes for us.

I can’t see them picking up more than 6 points in their remaining games. Can see 7th being a race between us Everton and Wolves.

I'd happily settle now for a nice juicy 8th which I think, all things considered this year would be a great achievement. The players can have a good rest in the summer whilst behind the scenes the club can hopefully, on top of our players that will be out of contract, move on some of the flotsam and jetsam we have in our squad to free up some wage money (will be difficult with Slimani). No more than three players to be bought, ie quality over quantity, one being the biggy Tielemans as a player of his potential calibre could help define our future.
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 Schmeichel ricardo evans maguire chilwell ndidi ghezzal maddison tielemans albrighton vardy subs: ward, Morgan, Fuchs, mendy, Barnes, gray, iheanacho our widemen are the problem at the moment imo. No harm giving ghezzal a game (assuming he’s fit) and be interesting to see albrighton in a slightly different wide role.

With 7th place gone will the players be on the beach? Will Rodgers experiment with the line up and system now?.. Will we get another point on the board this season?... If so it has to be from this game. 0-0. Evans back for Maguire I hope. Caglar in for Wes (but won't happen!). Gray not in the squad (I hope). I’m not sure, but I thought we were in 7th place
Suzie the Fox Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 West Ham played well yesterday and were unlucky to not take any points v Man Utd. I would be happy with an away draw.

Barnes will progress so has no questions to answer. I know what greys pros and cons are.
mozartfox Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 Just stop this frigging passing along the back line. Please play a CB that can pass forward more than 5 Yards.

Wymsey Posted 15 April 2019 Posted 15 April 2019 Biggest away win of the season. Say 4-1; start very well from the off and get an early goal, their fans groan towards their team and make countless mistakes for an easy win.. Players certainly need to be up for this one, as it should be the most-easiest game (on paper).

UPinCarolina Posted 15 April 2019 Posted 15 April 2019 Watching this with the local Hammers supporters group... The last time against them was such a deflating and awful day that it’s hard to contemplate.

I remember a lady asking me a similar question on a rather dubious website I’d inadvertently navigated to. Except the word: “drop” may have been replaced with: “crack”

If it gets intolerable, put it on, and that will clear the joint.
