If every hitc link is going to generate a thread then we will need several transfer forums to avoid having live stuff on page 2!

Agree st albans, at the moment all we have is speculation to quell the boredom.

Not a chance are we signing Everton's best centre back, especially as they won't be getting Zouma. We always laugh when they got linked with Vardy and Mahrez and this is just as ridiculous!

This Bulk-shit about us paying serious money for any CB you can think of, must indeed be click-bate.  Even if HM moves, surely any cash raised will be spent on Mid-field and on our Attack ?

Everton 'set' to sanction transfer as Leicester City battle Nottingham Forest
The England international has made just three appearances for Everton so far this season after falling out-of-favour with manager Frank Lampard at Goodison Park

Leicester City are reportedly 'eyeing' making a move to re-sign Everton central defender Michael Keane over a decade after spending six months on loan from Manchester United.

During that spell, Keane made 27 appearances for City en route to Championship play-off heartbreak against Watford at the end of the 2012/13 season. The defender played every minute of the two-legged semi-final before returning to Man United that summer, with further loans away from Old Trafford at Derby County and then Blackburn Rovers following before switching to the latter's East Lancashire rivals Burnley, where a temporary move would soon become permanent.

After three years at Turf Moor, during which time Keane became an England international, the defender was signed by Everton, and it is there that he has spent the last five-and-a-half season. Ahead of the January transfer window, though, the player is out-of-favour under manager Frank Lampard and in search of more regular playing time, as was first the case when the Foxes first came calling.

The Sunday Mirror newspaper reports that Keane 'is set to go out on loan' and that as many as four Premier League clubs are 'eyeing moves' ahead of the January transfer window. City are one of them, alongside East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest, who are apparently 'at the front of the queue' for him, as well as Fulham and West Ham United.

A 12-cap England international, Keane played less than half an hour of league football before the season paused for the World Cup. The last of those national team call-ups came as recently as November 2020, and the defender was a part of the Three Lions squad that finished third at the inaugural Nations League Finals the year before.
