Tuna Posted 4 December 2022 Posted 4 December 2022 (edited) He's 29, nearly 30 now we need to move away from signings like this, they've done us no good eg Vestergaard. Edited 4 December 2022 by Tuna 3
FoxyLeon Posted 4 December 2022 Posted 4 December 2022 The problem with this is, we can no longer write links like this off as nonsense after the signing of Vestergaard. When you consider that, plus the fact we're perfectly happy to let Soyuncu go, who with the right coaching is a very good at least top half Premier League Center half (I'd argue he's good enough for top 6), you realise this link isn't the madness it would once have been. 1
lcfc sheff Posted 4 December 2022 Posted 4 December 2022 I liked him when he was here thought he played better than Morgan at times but wouldn’t take him back now
Clever Fox Posted 4 December 2022 Posted 4 December 2022 No definitely not. He's not physically strong enough and completely the wrong player for us. We need another physical player who's also quick and a Beast to secure the middle of defence with Faes. He also turned us down once, I wouldn't want him here.

volpeazzurro Posted 5 December 2022 Posted 5 December 2022 I think Roy Keane would even be a better option.
mozartfox Posted 5 December 2022 Posted 5 December 2022 Keane + Vesty + Bertrand = The largest Car Crash in history. 1

Lambert09 Posted 5 December 2022 Posted 5 December 2022 (edited) he was always one of the most overrated players. I personally always had doubts about him even when he was with us. He scored a few late goals which blurred a lot of peoples vision on how good he actually was. Then at burnley, dyche did what dyche does. You can never trust a dyche defender can replicate the performance outside of his system it’s a potential disaster. Since his move to everton he was well and truly found out. Even as a loan this is not what i want to see us doing. Give me a random cb on loan from europe as back up any day … i miss the days of dragovic and even molla wague 😂 as 5th choice options. At least there’s the chance they work out to be good… we all know keanes ceiling already. Edited 5 December 2022 by Lambert09 1
RowlattsFox Posted 5 December 2022 Posted 5 December 2022 At the very best he could fill a squad place with Soyuncu and Vestergaard going. The Ryan Bennett role
RumbleFox Posted 5 December 2022 Posted 5 December 2022 We don’t talk about Bruno.. 14 hours ago, UHDrive said: No. No. No.

Got in ahead of Liam Moore who'd been pretty solid that's season and was our own young player who we should have developed.
Matt_Lcfc Posted 5 December 2022 Posted 5 December 2022 (edited) No, hopefully the Faes signing will mark a return back to finding talented, obscure players. This would just be Vestergaard part two. Edited 5 December 2022 by Matt_Lcfc 2

He cost us goal after goal in his short spell with us, mainly as he was so physically weak and couldn't jump for shit. 1
Ric Flair Posted 6 December 2022 Posted 6 December 2022 Once upon a time I thought he was a superb player but I see little upside in signing this sort of player now?
