With that in mind... Greatest Movies. Citizen Kane - an undoubted masterpiece of story telling. The Seven Samurai - a dynamic, emotional romp through feudal Japan. Some Like It Hot - A funny film that paved the way for more. The Godfather - The American dream all twisted. 2001 - A Space Odyssey - how to do a film just like the book. My Favourite Movies. Citizen Kane - an undoubted masterpiece of story telling. Star Wars - A New Hope - such a big impact on a young kid... those spaceships! Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - the best of the bunch. The Princess Bride - so much love for this. Airplane - Or Naked Gun, or Blazing Saddles, or Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail. I felt I needed a comedy in there somewhere. Die Hard - Aliens - Serenity - Avengers: Endgame - The Right Stuff - Inception - When We Were Kings - Crouching Tiger: Hidden Dragon - Shane - High Noon - Jean de Florette - Life Is Beautiul - True Lies - Dodgeball - Anchorman - Fargo - A Silent Place - The Usual Suspects - other Star Wars films, other MCU films, other Indiana... Screw it, this is as hard as doing my favourite music. I'd just like to note however that 99% of the films mentioned so far are Hollywood blockbusters from the past 50 years, but then I guess no good film were made before 1970 or in foreign languages.

I just like some proper alt-rock, instead of that whiny, radio-friendly, teen-angst drivel. Might as well listen to Fall Out Boy.
