This is how we used to sing it in the 70's. I'm sure we can still do it although it might need a bit of tannoy assistance.

If you click on the tweet above and hear the speed that it’s sung at correctly then you may realise why it sounds so crap when sung by our current fanbase !

What I would say is, in 16 years of following Leicester I have never heard it sang at that speed in the ground. 

I do agree it needs slowing from the speed it is currently at but the 'older' generation have not passed down the song at the speed from the above video.

I used to like the bit at the end where it has a crowd singing a long so everyone would assume it was the crowd in the stadium and start to sing for a little but and then stop when they realised no one around them was singing.

I think our modern fan base would get it if it was played over the PA. I can imagine that YNWA and MOT would've also been 'lost' had it not been played to the masses to join in with. I think WYS was lost during the latter 80's when football was dying, crowds were low, and never got authentically reproduced when modern football arrived in '92. Shame but I've not given up on it. I'd love to sing along just before the players come out and then straight into the Gallop. Chills.

No - it does sound crap.

Never heard is sung in the ground either (that I could tell what it was anyway) - have been a ST holder for 10 years.

Sounds bloody awful. What's the rush? Slow it down and it sounds a whole lot better. Take a tip from the lads on the Kop in the 60s.
