Pretty sure if he wasn't just in Germnay, say over here for example, he'd be rated higher. Not just the goals he scores but the types of goals, incredible.

I think he's rated pretty enormously tbf. Gaz down the pub who only reads the Sun and watches MOTD probably thinks he's no Harry Kane because he watched Poland in the Euros once and Lewandowski didn't score a hattrick against Brazil. 

 

But most people that actually follow football as a hobby surely accept he's one of the very best centre forwards in the world tbh.

In the 2019/20 Season hes been comfortably the best player in the world.

As a Bayern supporter I can safely say he's been fantastic for us since he joined. And in fact, he was even very good for Dortmund.

 

However, he seems to get better and better and must be reaching prime age now. This season he has been ridiculous. If you watched the way he scored the goals yesterday, you will understand how much of a complete Number 9 he is. No contest, best outright 9 in the world right now. And to think he was a free transfer!!!
