Does this mean we will soon see him back in the concourse giving it the biggun in a beanie like he used to?

Praet has only played 40minutes for Antwerp this season and is already out injured

When they're scouting players like Praet do the just totally ignore that after he came back from injury he was calling in sick like some kind of lout who's had too much to drink over the weekend. It's not exactly the sign of a model professional is it?

Saw a picture of Craig Hignett the other day someone I’d forgotten that played for us all be it briefly.

He’s probably already been mentioned I guess

Would have easily been forgotten if not for that last minute equaliser against Arsenals 'invincibles'

I just saw that he'd retired. Felt like I'd just woken up from a coma! Christ, I feel old.

He's quietly become a starter for them. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go on to have a very good career.

Ziyech hardly gets a game by way of comparison. Could see him playing in Fecundo's role if we can't keep him at the end of the season, which seems likely. Needs building up physically though, imo.

sounds like a decent deal all round.

They need the right players now, as they've got a few on the sidelines for a while.

That could be a good buy for them, but he might get caught out with being rather slow.

Perez has likely just scored the winning goal taking Villarael up to 3rd.

Honestly never rated the guy. Is it just a case of spain being a better fit for him or did we not use him correctly?

Maybe he’s still tripping over his feet on a regular basis and I just don’t hear about it

Hes also second in the top scorer charts…. equaling mbappe lol

30 minutes into Atalantas latest match and Lookman already has a goal and 2 assists.

Shame the lad wasn't left footed!

*34 minutes in, 2 goals now :D

George Hirst scored for Ipswich yesterday. Fair play to him never thought he'd make it to the PL

Won't be long before he gets his 2nd too!

Not going well for Nacho at Sevilla

Leicester City exit turns into nightmare – Quick transfer on the cards

Leicester City lost Kelechi Iheanacho on a free transfer in the summer, with the player wanting to try a new adventure.

Sevilla was the chosen club, and since arriving there’s been a never-ending stream of criticism sent towards Iheanacho.

Fitness worries have held him back, and there were multiple suggestions that he hadn’t arrived at the club in a reasonable condition.

Estadio Deportivo today note that even though things look positive enough for Sevilla as they get away from the relegation zone, that isn’t true for Iheanacho.

The 28-year-old didn’t play against Barcelona or Espanyol, remaining on the bench. He has played only 272 minutes in La Liga and the feeling is that the Nigerian isn’t at the required level to play for the Spanish club.

As a result, the forward’s future is now up in the air already and he could depart in January. His contract Sevilla expires in the summer of 2026 and it isn’t a long-term deal, which could help the Andalusians to move on the ex-Leicester man.

They've been playing him as a number 9 in a single striker formation, not the most suited to his skillset

so he’s not suited as a number 9, he didn’t thrive as a no.10 with us, even though that’s allegedly his best position,… what IS he suited to?

Hes done nothing in his career to have the honour of getting a team tailored to him. That’s an honour you earn.

He was massively under rated by our fans.

He played in a team that finished 5th twice and won the FA Cup, doing the dirty work, which allowed others to thrive. If he’d been a bit more clinical in front of goal, he wouldn’t have got half the hate he did.

I still find it annoying we didn’t keep him the season we got relegated as he was a far better option than others who saw us collapse in on ourselves.

No coincidence he’s thrived in Spain.

Looks like that purple patch in 2021 will probably be the zenith of his career. It's a shame, I feel he could have really pushed on from there.

Scored some important goals for us, I tend to remember him fondly.

EDIT: quoted the wrong post here. My post was about Kel, not Perez.
