Another red pill white supremacist 4chan loser with a manifesto apparently. Oh, and a big Trump fan. What a shock.

Wont be the last either with the right-wing propaganda machine constantly making them think their opinions and actions are right. And the president that thinks there are "fine people on both sides" after a nazi rammed a car into a crowd.

Rip to the poor people that died who were just doing their shopping.

The kid got arrested. Does Texas have the death penalty? Photos of him walking into Walmart tooled up like Schwarzenegger in Commando (with ear defenders) being shown on news networks.

Didn't know you could buy guns in Walmart, when I was at school it was all about a new pencil case from Tesco at the start of term.

I lived in Flagstaff Arizona a few years ago. The local Walmart sold handguns and rifles (both marketed at children) but you couldn't buy fruit and veg. 'Murica

If mass murder in schools or supermarkets wont change minds nothing will... and Trump has the cheek to criticise crime in London

Maybe it's got something to do with the weapons industry? Obviously public sales are tiny compared to war efforts, but these companies have a huge influence on governments globally and any policy change that's likely to affect that will be batted away. The pro gun lobbyists seem to be an incestuous old boy's club more interested in protecting their free golf memberships than anything else. It's the private industry that concerns me. American school security is now a billion dollar industry with a police force that buy's decommissioned military equipment, from the same industry, done apparently to keep the people safe.

Add that to people losing their shit everywhere and the problem looks different imo.

Andrew Bolt is an out and out cvnt, he is purely the propoganda arm of The Liberal (Conservative) party and Murdochs puppet.

There seems to be a whole load of these right wing shock jocks on Foxtel here spewing out their climate change denying propaganda.

Closing in on that mass shooting triple ton for the year and it's only August!

But yeah, let's do nothing about gun control and make it all about mental healthcare...oh, and then do nothing about making that more easily accessible too.

Oh, and don't forget, this is just a lone nut. Not part of a internet-based network with clear ideology, okay? The "alt-right" doesn't exist, remember?

Cannot wait until someone tries to explain how you can kill 20 and wound 26 more with any commercially available firearm other than a clipped semi-automatic rifle designed solely for that purpose.

Swear to God my countrymen are some of the most unjustly paranoid people who’ve ever lived. The uniquely American insanity surrounding “what if the government does ____?!” is what keeps these weapons so freely available. The persistent fantasy that a sub-group has that they would be the überpatriot Rambo George Washington who’d save the people from some sort of domestic tyranny.

Foxtel/Fox news is entirely focused on supporting the right wing Murdochracy, especially after 5pm.

To be fair, David Speers who was their lead political reporter wasnt all bad, but he was during the day.... everything after dark is hatefilled scaremongering, most of the "presenters" are ex conservative politicians or staffers.

I can only recommend do NOT watch FOX for real news.... and definitely not after 5pm for ANY kind of balance.

If the anti terror/ICE forces spent ALL their time just focusing on 4chan.. they would make the US much safer than their current racist activities.

If I lived in America I'd be desperately looking for a country I could go back to even if I came from there

It can't be just about availability of guns, though - there are other countries with relaxed gun laws where this doesn't happen.

It has to be something to do with the American psyche.

Am stunned (but greatly relieved for the victim's families) that the police managed to arrest the alleged murderer and that he didn't kill himself at the point of them surrounding him - just like the murderer a few years ago who wore a clown suit (?) and fired on his victims inside a cinema in the country.

This type of murder calls for the death penalty to be utilised to punish him, imo; as a life imprisonment is personally wrong on this incident-type, imo.

The absolute prospect of being held in prison will not stop those who could potentially commit such horrible acts in the future; as they'll still have the same human rights as other prisoners who aren't in prison for killing an innocent individual/s (and not to mention the millions of innocent people around the world desperate for such basic needs struggling with poverty..) - such as food and water etc.

-

Also read that the past two gun-murdering incidents in the US this week (the other involving some outdoor event), consisted of young lone gunmen.

Depending on their medical backgrounds etc, these cases could may be perceived by some that the authorities over there have failed to monitor them/get them the right support they needed in the past (if that makes sense) - had they had any mental illness diagnosis in the past (that very obviously, now, of course may have escalated in the lead-up to this tradegy).

Naturally, while we're discussing the latest mass shooting, another mass shooting takes place

Are you talking about the one in Dayton, Ohio where another 9 where killed a few hours ago or has there been another since that?

I can’t keep up..

The worst thing is, apparently 4chan is "left leaning" compared to 8chan. I dread to think what that site is like.

The ear defenders are required by law in America - Health and Safety.
