It does look like the first thing I said, Silva is playing behind Hamza.

 

Rodgers like the 6 to be able to recycle the ball and play lots of short passes, which Mendy was doing really well (even if it's not very exciting). Almost Jorginho style, interesting to see Silva play that role even though I think he won't be here by the time the European window closes.

I thought the same but we havent had our best 11 (incl Perez) playing yet. So not worried, Its still only pre-season
