Such a nice young guy, how can you not hope he captains England and has a great life.

Just look at that picture with his mum.

I bloody love Hamza.  He always comes across as a really nice lad and its refreshing that the most of his social media posts are about his family.

great to see him come through the ranks and take his chance - long may he continue to progress and grow as a player.

What a guy. I remember seeing him in a FA Youth Cup game at St Mary's a few seasons ago, at full time he went across to his family before going down the tunnel. Didn't realise at all that he has a kid of his own already.

My mates misses was at the same antenatal classes with him and his partner. One week he came walking in with a full new set of kit for the class the woman who ran it broke down into tears it was about 5k's worth.

He didnt want any recognition for it and just carried on with the class.

Seems a lovely lad :) he’ll go a long way, he’s looked good for a long time now and if Ndidi wasn’t in such great form I think he’d be starting regularly.

Good read that.

Rightfully behind Ndidi at the moment, but for his age he has looked very promising indeed. Great to have as a back-up or rotation (and a ready made starter if Ndid is poached in the near future). Nice to have a local lad too, especially one from Loughborough way!

I think there are some benefits for his development with him being rotated as he is at the moment. It means he has to fill in different roles other than just the DM role which allows him to develop other skills (eg his passing) and will help him be a more complete player, which I think is already evident.

Yeah, I'm quite happy with him being rotated in, to be fair - I just don't want to see him lining up alongside N'didi! I think we become too defensive at that point.

Hamza's great, and could go on to do great things. It’s nice to see him talking about his roots when other footballers aren’t as up front and open about things. Fantastic player and already a role model to so many at such a young age 🙌

And people wonder why BR was so keen to leave Celtic for City, we have such an amazing young squad, Ndidi is one of the best DM in the PL already and to have a player of the quality of Hamza as back up is amazing.

I don't understand the hype about Rice and Longstaff, I'd take neither over our boys.

Love Hamza!!!

Surely a future captain!

If Ndidi keeps playing the way he does Hamza won't find a way into the team.

Nice problem to have though.

I'm a bit worried about his game time now Ndidi has reached a new level. His midfield competition is Ndidi, Tielemans and Maddison.

Play Hamza as a second DM and Maddison wide left for the rest of the season

I'm sure that BR will realise sooner rather than later that Hamza is the man to carry his team to glory.

N'didi to Chelsea at the end of January as N'Golo goes back to the continent.
