surrifox Posted 1 November 2019 Posted 1 November 2019 Every expense spared designing the club’s first logo
Livid Posted 1 November 2019 Posted 1 November 2019 I still have the book they produced when we hit a 100 !
Free Falling Foxes Posted 1 November 2019 Posted 1 November 2019 I've never missed a game.. I hope we win our next match 13-5 We should aim for 135 points.* Or, more realistic, a round of applause after 13.5 minutes *I know, I know, not mathematically possible.
Jattdogg Posted 1 November 2019 Posted 1 November 2019 Are you 1, are you 2, are you 3...... Ahhhhhhh screw it, Happy birthday foxes!
foxy boxing Posted 1 November 2019 Posted 1 November 2019 Vardy start the party, Vardy start the party. Happy Birthday, Leicester City Football Club.

As a kid was struck by its distinctive shape and sheer Leicesterness. Spent many absorbed hours drawing it on school exercise books etc. Never been really convinced by any of its successors...and must admit the only downside I felt about 15/16 was that the round badge (generic, ho-hum) represented us to the world instead of the 'real' one. Writing this from just off Fosse Rd where it all started 135 years ago. What a club. What a city. What a story!
fazzyfox Posted 1 November 2019 Posted 1 November 2019 If you add 1,3 and 5 you get 9....which I believe is considered lucky in Thailand / Asia. And that's also the number of goals we scored in our recent record breaking win. Book the bus parade, it's happening!

TBF I do actually like the current badge as it has links to the city also with the cinquefoil and the fox looks great but the heart shaped one with the crossed riding crops will always be the one I remember. As you say the shape was distinctive just in itself and you could tell it a mile off. It probably helps that it was the one that we had when I was a nipper and first started going to games in the sixties.

urban.spaceman Posted 1 November 2019 Posted 1 November 2019 135 years ago today something happened that would, a century in the future, provide Urban.Spaceman with a lifetime of joy, misery, ecstasy, anguish and disbelief in equal measure. Happy Birthday, LCFC. 💙
HybridFox Posted 1 November 2019 Posted 1 November 2019 Always feel there's a meaning when we sing "We're by far the greatest team". Here's to another 135 years!
