Palace 0-2 Leicester post match

As a Palace fan you would worry on how you're going to score goals. They're in that weird point of not likely to be in a relegation battle but some way off anything else. Thet won't really improve and if anything are likely to decline once selling Zaha

Good win yesterday and Soyuncu was MOM for me but I wanted to give a big shout to Wilf. He was outstanding yesterday and is having a great season, our defence is so strong because of it. I'm sure this is Rodgers doing but he seems to have stopped trying to hard to be a playmaker, it's given him far more energy and confidence and now just focused on that defensive role covering so much ground and winning the ball.

Master of his craft.

This goal is sooooooooooooo good on so many levels. That Vardy both scores it and pulls off one of the greatest troll celebrations of recent times after scoring it is the cherry on the cake. lol

Great team play though. Sexy football!

Take a sip of your coffee everytime Vardy says "getting back on the training field". He's been saying that for years.

"Jamie, what colour do you prefer, blue or white?"

"Both are nice but we just need to get back to the training field and prepare for next week"

Response to scoring a great goal - delighted for the lads that we picked up three points and we move on to the next game. Really pleased for the gaffer.

Can't really expect anything else, players are scrutinised with everything they do... so naturally they will close up and provide sensible, stock answers. Getting pointless interviewing some managers and players, tells you nothing.

Bet Vardy has plenty to say on the pitch. All I see are his jaws moving in the direction of opposition players.

Love watching him shit talk the tender as he pulls his ball out of the net. Right in his face too.

Do they still mike the net? Surely Sky must have some of that on mike. I'd pay good money to hear some of that.

The more goals he scores the nastier he gets. Streetballer.

After the torture Palace have inflicted on us since 2017 that felt good.

We really were much the better side throughout although to their credit Palace made us sweat for it. We've never found them easy to beat.

Some of the play like Maddisons pass and Vardy's goal was just breathtaking.

It's getting harder to point out who didn't play well for us which is a hell of a compliment. Looked like it might be a frustrating day for us but it took something of a flukey goal to break them down. Soyuncu was magnificent even without the goal. N'didi superb although he did give the ball away unnecessarily at times. Fair play to B-Rod. Made some superb calls in the second half.Other than Man U has got the team set up perfectly.

Even though we are unlikely to catch the top 2 I've enjoyed this season maybe more so than 2015/16. It's just been magnificent to watch us tear teams apart.

I couldnt care !!! ,hes Not in the Marketing Business to put twists on 'your own ideal salesman'

Another Weird  negative Post to put a damper on our tallisman & legend....

He scores goals,in front of millions (TV and terraces).  !!!!!   But thats  Not Good enough ..you want him to apply himself  as an after-dinner-speaker...!!!

Funny very funny..:crylaugh:

You're twisting what im saying and making alot more of it than need be.

It's word for word "I'm gonna put me head down and get on the training field" every single time we see him. My point was he might aswell not bother.

He's my favourite ever player and should go down as our best ever player. Don't try and put words in my mouth - like I'm trying to with him 😂

No.

This season is brilliant. Fantastic. But we half expect it.

That season was perfect in every way.

I dont doubt that and that's obviously a good thing that hes not stood there saying chat shit get banged gonna get me vodka out later.

But its literally word for word "I'm just gonna get back on the training field and put me head down" in every interview without even listening to the question. Waste of time even doing one.

I see there's a few comments about Schlupp "stealing a living" on the palace forum.

He continues to divide opinion then lol

Doesnt look like divided opinion to me. Pretty much word for word what we said about him. 🤣

(Still loved him though. He has cult hero status here, partly as a league winner but mainly for the comedy)

Worth a read and a good indicator of how difficult the season will be as we become a ‘top six’ player .....

I thought it was very noticeable how Ayew always sat very deep on Ndidi when our CBs had the ball to stop us from playing out through him, and then as the picture shows they tried to cut off the supply to Tielemans and Maddison. I think it's something we'll have to get used to.

Well we won’t on Saturday - arsenal rarely take the opposition into account but thereafter we need to be prepared

No matter how good we are, theres always times we are unbelievably bad and he contributed a fair share to them times.

I also remember his Good games, some ,where he would be excellent in a move, and others locked it up,But he seemed always to be the ventil, where some found it easy to blame..be started has a forward, raw, Full of nearly potential,Not unlike Nacho..

I vaguely remember a sequence (might have been the great escape season, cant remember exactly when now) when our Jeffrey kept heading other players in the head in various games and leaving them stricken. must have a steel skull

Oh yeah definetely. On his day he could look incredibly good. It was a decent deal all round when he left.

There was a few behind me once who wouldn't stop bashing Lloyd Dyer, even during the Championship title season. Our fanbase never changes.
