orangecity23 Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 I'm deeply worried about the ref being Chris Kavanagh. Our record with him reffing is appalling (70% loss rate), he's already fecked us over against Liverpool, he loves to make awful decisions against us (Ndidi sending off against Brighton), and he was basically the whole reason we lost against Arsenal away last year. Ignored the Holding handball, ignored about 6 or 7 blatant yellow card fouls, Arsenal should have been down to 9 men before half time. This guy is absolute bottom tier stuff, sitting with Pawson as just about the worst of all the refs in the league. Makes Moss and Mike Dean look good.
PhillippaT Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 The best outcome for domestic bliss would be a draw, but still... COYB!!!
lcfcell Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 Have to remember Arsenal still have some very good players. Won’t be easy.

If we boss the midfield battle and cut the supply to their attack then we will go a long way to winning the game. Arsenal's attack on paper is brilliant, but it's if they can link up and get firing. Spot on. And that is where if our magic three show up, we are better then them.
Wolfox Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 It’s Arsenal isn’t it…. Let’s not get too giddy….
Jonezy Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 Every single omen are in our favour. I don't like it, but please stuff them Gunners.

If we play anything like we are capable of which we seem to be doing week in week out then we should blow them over, they played on Thursday as well so will be feeling it and its not a happy camp. All we have to do is turn up and continue in the same fashion as the last few weeks and we should win and go 9 points clear of them. Very few players we’ll be seeing played on Thursday.
Izzy Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 I hate being favorites for this, it doesn't sit comfortably with me. All the pundits expecting us to win this feels weird. Much prefer when we're the underdog with no pressure but I guess it comes with the territory when you're doing well!

Guest Danny Clender Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 Can't help but feel Vardy is due a 'worldy' soon.

Get on at him from the start, the refarees a willy puller for 90 mins might make him think? Nah prolly not.
AyewJoking Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 Feeling confident. IF we have our heads on, we win comfortably.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 What’s the risk that Rodgers over thinks it and tinkers?
st albans fox Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 If dick goes for it then he could play Pepe and Özil with the front two ...... that could mean the game being high scoring and as much chance of a 1-4 as a 4-1 wilf can’t do everything on his own !!

SheppyFox Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 Arsenal and their primitive football pose us no threat.
