urban.spaceman Posted 4 November 2019 Posted 4 November 2019 Pinch of salt time: https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2019/leicester-open-negotiations-to-sign-emmanuel-dennis-club-brugge/ Leicester open negotiations to sign Emmanuel Dennis (Club Brugge) Our reliable colleague Manu Lonjon reported today that Premier League side Leicester City have opened discussions to sign 21-year-old Nigerian attacker Emmanuel Dennis from Belgian side Club Brugge in the January transfer window. The player is the top priority identified by the Foxes’ boss Brendan Rodgers in terms of a mid-season reinforcement. The Belgian side are likely to ask for between €20m and €23m
Xen Posted 4 November 2019 Posted 4 November 2019 He's young, we seem to be looking more towards the Belgian league and Belgian players lately, and the national link to Ndidi/Iheanacho makes this believable. Especially as it seems to be the price range that we like to operate in. But like you said, big pinch of salt with this as with any transfer rumours surfacing now. We've dropped the likes of Everton/West Ham/Wolves so we're going to be the 'unique' club that gets linked by any and every agent wanting to increase a transfer value or get an improved contract. It's also very early for rumours to come about that actually mean anything - the only one I can think of from recent years that we've been involved in was Ndidi.

Gerard Posted 4 November 2019 Posted 4 November 2019 Nigerian striker you say, what could possibly go wrong? He'd be our fourth Nigerian striker in our history I believe.

Riot Van Posted 4 November 2019 Posted 4 November 2019 HIs two goals against Real Madrid were absolutely awful

Nicolo Barella Posted 4 November 2019 Posted 4 November 2019 Saw him absolutely embarass Real Madrid with two goals in the CL recently: one was the most controlled looking jammy finish I've ever seen and the other, the most jammy looking controlled finish. I'd rather nab Percy Tau from Brighton who's on loan there
mozartfox Posted 4 November 2019 Posted 4 November 2019 If buying him means we will not have enough cash left to spunk on an over-priced CB from another EPL Club, then just gerrimin regardless.
Butch Posted 4 November 2019 Posted 4 November 2019 As a Belgian I would advise you not to do it, atleast not for that price. He is not a consistent player and can have awful performances, even against weak sides. He's fast and can dribble but he's not a stat player. Don't forget that he's currently playing for a side that is totally dominating the national league and he sits at 3 goals and 0 assists while playing for a side that already has scored 32 goals. He's only 21 years old but I think his consistency needs to go up before giving the PL an attempt.
TrentFox Posted 4 November 2019 Posted 4 November 2019 Dennis, Dennis. You both play in blue. Dennis, Dennis. we’ve got a crush on you.....

Finnegan Posted 4 November 2019 Posted 4 November 2019 Some absolutely Okazakiesque finishing against Real. Actually almost got a hattrick and all of them were borderline accidents. Get him in.
sdb Posted 4 November 2019 Posted 4 November 2019 The comparisons to Ahmed Musa are unavoidable. Gerrrimout!!!

Honestly his second goal was an amazingly controlled finish considering he was falling over, like Kane's goal against us. His first goal, though... That was so funny
