It is the fourth time that Vardy has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month, having previously won the award in October 2015, November 2015 and April 2019 – only Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie, Harry Kane, Steven Gerrard and Sergio Agüero have more.

This is really incredible to me given that Vardy has played fewer games than all of the above and plays for a historically smaller team. Just continues his ongoing legendary status.

Would be lovely to see him pick up the Golden Boot and / or Player of the Year award this season, both of which he is capable of doing!

1st Sergio Agüero 6
Steven Gerrard
Harry Kane 4th Robin van Persie 5 Wayne Rooney 6th Dennis Bergkamp[c] 4 Cristiano Ronaldo Thierry Henry Frank Lampard Paul Scholes Alan Shearer[d]

Never thought I'd see a Leicester City player in such company. Another record for him to aim for!

The best bit about this is, not only is his name already alongside the Elite of Premier League history (and being the record scorer for consecutive games to boot) but he’s not finished yet!!

He’s only 10 goals from reaching the 100 club, and when he’s scored 113 goals he will be equal 19th of the top scorers in PL history with Ian Wright and Lukaku

Ah, the award.  Is it wood?  Is it plastic?

It looks like a box designed to add a few bucks to the price of a bottle of Scotch.  It’s a grin seeing pictures of the presentees trying to look enthusiastic.  The only one who ever managed it was Son, who has a career waiting in K-Drama when the football thing gets old.

p.s. I was able to vote.  But they must not advertise this in Asia, or how could a non- MUFC or LFC player (other than Son) win?

Mmmm, not sure about this; he seems  thrive on abuse from others, not awards.

It’s a cunty little award anyway. It’ll probably wind him up a treat.

He's always been utterly useless for LCFC - and you can tell him that from me, as a loyal Gooner.

I can't imagine a crap player like that ever scoring again....never mind banging in a hat-trick against the Arse, then celebrating by standing in front of the away fans doing an impression of a cannon!

The most influential player ever at this club, set the standard, raised the bar , won the league, conquered his human failings, hamstrung by his missus but rose all the way to the top .... legend just doesn't do him justice

3 Andrew Cole -
 England
187
4 Frank Lampard -
 England
177
5 Thierry Henry -
 France
175
6 Sergio Agüero Manchester City
 Argentina

8 Jermain Defoe -

9 Michael Owen -

Currently on 90, it's remarkable we can even have this conversation given that he was 27 in his first PL season.
