This forum is gonna quickly turn on Brendan if we lose with that starting 11

Which in itself is madness - he has a squad, he has every right to use it during a busy time. It isn’t his fault that a lot of the fringe players are gash....

But in saying that if he has made 9 changes, unless there’s knocks/injuries, there’s absolutely no need.

Agreed. Hopefully they can prove a lot of us, myself included, wrong

BR said in his presser that when manager of Swansea he made 8 changes against a Villa side that won away against Chelsea and was largely unchanged.

Maybe he is now predisposed in his thinking that change is good rather than play the first XI. Even if we didn't fare well today then we have a proper rested first XI to go away at Newcastle and attack January with little harm to the squad? Whatever team he picks I will support his decision.

I think the team could be something like ..

             Schmeichel

Pereira Evans Soyuncu Fuchs

                 Wilf

Perez    Maddison     Gray

      Nacho / possibly Vardy

If true I would imagine the club is trying to make a 'point' about having to play so soon after the last game.  Especially with Liverpool getting an extra day off.

Probably a case of cutting off your own nose to spite your own face, but the 3s that have been knocking around with bookies for a home win look even more attractive than they did when originally priced up...

Surely, if the rumours of these changes is correct, it's a bit of a shit on the other teams around the relegation area.

West Ham are on a poor run and are there for the taking for a side of our quality.

Big Nigel will not be pleased 😒

Unfortunately we’re not here to help Big Nige. We’ve got a squad, it’s up to us how we use it. Blame the authorities for making us play two games in just under two days

Liverpool are on sky against wolves

would be tough on wolves to make them play today !!!

we are shortening on the exchange, so either that "leaked" team is a lie or they are literally playing their under 8s. because we should have about doubled in price in we are playing a midfield three of hamza, mendy and iheanacho or perez

True, but if we were down the bottom and fighting and one of our rivals had a home game v 2nd, we'd be mightily peed off if that top team gave them easy points.

All clubs are facing the same demands during the silly season.

Never know though, we might have a stormer.

Not my point. More a case of no reason why our game / all the games couldn't have been tomorrow.  Probably all be a bit moot anyway when the team only shows a couple of chnages
