Why have Evans and Soyuncu swapped sides recently?

My guess would be that Ricky goes forward a lot and is slow to get back sometimes, Soy's pace can help us cover for him.

Been out and about, only just checking in. Have we been that bad?! Sounds like we’ve been atrocious and So’ton should be pumping us this time.

We're too puelesque. Very pedestrian performance so far, considering we're playing against Southampton at home

Is it Puel-esque or is this just how we play when we are not up for games?

Liverpool brought in a dedicated throw in coach about 18 months ago

There's some stat like they retain 10% more throw in after they got the throw in coach.

it seems the best we can do is keep possession from a throw-in much like our corners. Marginal gains (like Liverpool) pay off in the end.

Be interesting to see how that has paid off... seems time and again everyone wastes throws

Both lol

The major difference from being genuinely puelesque is that we had a couple chances actually (we rarely had them in the first half under CP)... but they had more

Not to to mention their excellent diving coach.

All the spark seems to have gone out of us. We need to find some fire soon or we’re going to struggle. No offence to Southampton but this should be 3pts if we are serious about top 3/4. Our form recently has been middling at best.

They are first to nearly everything and pressing really well, we will do well to get a win today by the looks of this

We need to be reversing the ball more and running the wheels off them.  Wear them out, then add Nacho and go for the kill in the last 30'.

They look fitter and sharper than us. Impressed with Long and Ings workrate. They’ve got some decent players tbf
