What will you change as a result of "this"

Recommended Posts

We all see, hear and talk about the things we now miss and the things we have found since the onslaught of Covid19

So, what do you believe you will actually change as a result, will you go on more walks... will you appreciate your family... will you think going to the shops is a joy?  ... Or, will it take about three months for us all to forget and slip back into the old rut?

What will you change, what will you do differently?

Good plan to wait for this to be over, otherwise ticket sales would be abysmal.

Yes. Exactly.

Nothing, really. Feel selfish saying it, as others are having a terrible time, but I've genuinely really enjoyed this whole thing. Ironically, it's probably been great for my health too - it's the least stressed I've been in the past 7 years!

Tbh i need to start doing things rather than thinking about doing things. Now I'm only able to think about doing things have I realised how utterly useless I am at doing the things I want to do. That goes from small things such as getting out to new places at the weekend or building out my network to bigger things like travel plans and trying to reorient my life around a passion for food.

Mum used to say to me don't put off til tomorrow what you can do today and I probably am guilty of putting way too much off.

When something big like this happens everyone says they will change something in their life or things will be “different” or they will treat people better and have a new zest for life, the reality is that if and when things get back to normal people will just snap back into the old routine, and there is nothing wrong with that if it makes you happy. Getting back to normal is often the best thing for people to do.

I'll certainly appreciate my time with mates and familiy on match day even more than I ever did.

I'm doing a lot more cycling, mainly due to the pubs being closed, I'll make more effort to keep up the cycling even if it's only an hour for so a day. Will keep me out the pub and save me a few quid.

Been walking with my boy as well will make sure we try keep that up as well. Theres plenty of footpaths round here that we should make more use of.

I am definitely however making sure Ofsted close my home school before I end up killing the kids.

Agree with this, I applaud all the do-gooders saying they have made huge changes to their lives that will last forever, but if anything this period has made me appreciate how lucky i am to have my 'normal' life. Friends, family, travel and an active lifestyle with plenty of new experiences, i miss it and am looking forward to going back to it.

Nothing. Aside from maybe cancel my gym membership as ive found home workouts can be pretty effective.

Carry on doing the things I enjoy as life without mates, hobbies and interests is pretty boring.

Be more prepared for round 2 of covid/pandemics

Stock up on:

-toilet paper

-n95 masks

-handsanitizer

-antibacterial hand soap

-lysol wipes/cleaning liquid

-kids toys

-gas generator

-gas canisters

-old school porn magazines in case internet and electricity stops working

-bomb shelter

-guns, swords, bats, hammers

Ermmm,  i dont think you meant that.....but i will keep some of the above no doubt. Maybe not the bomb shelter lol

I have always done things with the wife/kids so will continue to spend time with them. Hope to see my dad and brothers a bit more though.

I'll be going on the piss more often for a good year.

Can you imagine when the pubs open, it's going to be carnage.

They'll be record revenue for the majority of pubs I'd imagine. I think they'll do a traffic light system, with garden parties and BBQs allowed before pubs open, so that it won't be as bad in town centres.
