@STUHILLyou clearly dislike Pearson no matter what you say, every post has some snide comment or back handed compliment.

Anyway, I'd love him back here as would a huge section of the fanbase and one things for sure, he'd restore pride, we wouldn't be letting 5 in at Brighton or going down.

Hes what we need but he won't come because Bristol are a more attractive proposition than us now. Ffs.

Horrific to read isn't it when there's two professional clubs.

As someone who lives on the blue/white side of Bristol and goes to watch the gas on occasions, it’s a real pet hate lol

Honestly think there might be some people on this forum smoking crack.

We have an extremely talented squad, great facilities - we are a PREMIER LEAGUE club ffs, we're not losing out on managerial talent to Bristol City. Yes the finances are a bit tight, but the talent in this squad is already there to work with.

Plenty of managers will be looking at the quality of this squad and thinking what on earth are they doing at the bottom of the table? Just need a half decent tactician and man manager to come in and they will fly up the table, this is all down to Rodgers.

I’ve already compiled a list of players Pearson will sign in January.

Dawson, Dzeko and Chris Smalling on a pre contract. Leicester are back baby :scarf:

I don't think we need any of those.

It's true that any half decent manager will be able to get a better tune out of our squad.

But some on here feel that the current malaise in our club goes a bit deeper than the on-pitch management of our players, that parts of the structure and ethos of the club set up by Pearson have been allowed to slip during Rodgers' reign - for example the transfer policy, the training and medical set-ups, the togetherness of the squad and the determination/concentration of the team.

It's these deficiences that Pearson would be able to address.  But were Pearson to come here it would likely be better suited to a role more akin to director of  football rather than manager, and there must be a doubt as to whether he would be tempted away from a project that he has been given the time and trust to get his teeth into at Bristol City.

I love Nige as much as @Sharpe's Fox however I think he should stay at Bristol City. Whilst it would be amazing for him to return and he would definitely sort us out on and off the pitch, I think he should finish what he has started there. Imagine if someone had poached him from us in the middle of our championship winning season. I am enjoying seeing him succeed and build something special there. I never thought I would say this but it’s best for him to stay there and he seems to be in his element.

There’s zero chance in hell Pearson becomes our manager again, for more than 1 reason.

Tbh, my post was more about the idea that - if we wanted to - we wouldn't have the clout to be able to poach a manager from Bristol City. It's a truly ridiculous notion.

Dean Smith looks like a jealous other half

Shakey seeing Nige again next to Dean Smith is the football equivalent of finding out your girlfriend spent a passionate summer with an Italian lover with a 12 inch cock. Thats got to mess with your mind, man.

Pearson came across as a difficult man and not really the kind of modern manager KP wanted. This idolatry stems from a certain type of fan who admires the old school non nonsense approach he seemed to personify but it’s not shared by others who saw him more as a witless thug who defended his racist son.

Either way he’s definitely not the future of our club or probably any top flight club.

What on earth
