Sacking him was such a huge mistake by Derby.

They wouldn’t be in the mess they are currently. 99% sure that if they gave him 3 years he would have got them promoted.

Bumped into Nige and Curtis Fleming Wednesday night - gave me an hour of his time to talk about football and life. Just a brilliant guy. Unfortunately the group I was with were all Bristol city fans so I didn’t really get chance to talk Leicester but regardless he was such a gent.

Every time I’ve met Nige he’s been great.

Going to be a bitter pill for a lot on here when we're in a lower league than Nige next season!

Not sure why anyone would be bothered personally.

I've alway wanted him to do well, not sure why anyone wouldn't?

Same we any City ex-player, other then a select few.

Yes to to Nigel and Shakey and Martin O’Neill ( mainly as it was Scotland), but never an ex player, when they’re gone they’re nobody to me.

Delighted to see him doing so well. He deserves every success.

It's nice also that it's with a less fashionable Club who I think will give him the time to get them prometed.

Though that might hinder our chances of getting him back here.

Honestly at this stage if I'm Top I'm sounding him, Shakespeare and Walsh out.

It's not a definite hire for me but I'd want to hear what they have to say. Do they still have the intensity? Do they want to revolutionise our new training ground, get the focus back on sports science again? Have they kept up with top level football, does Walsh still have a list of targets?

If it's all still there and they really want it, honestly I'd get them back. If they're all kinda content where they are, not really feeling it, I'd leave it in the past.

Dunno, loved Schmeichel, Nugent, L Dyer, King etc. Always wish(ed) the best for them.
