So, with Leipzig winning this evening, if  PSG beat Man U tonight then Man U would go into their last group game needing at least a draw away to Leipzig. Can't decide if I want them to get knocked out of the UCL or not. Obviously I do in principle for so many reasons, but then our record against them is so bad, not sure I would really want them in the EL.

The reaction is embarrassing but how has he not been sent off? I'm almost pleased if refs start only giving yellows for that and encourage players to not exaggerate things but I'm amazed.

Peter Walton knows its a red and a mistake, but comes out with "It's his opinion", rather than actually saying it's wrong

Spot on. He can't even call out an outrageous decision. What's the point of having an ex-offcial if he's not going to call out wrong decisions.

How on earth have we got to a stage where a red card is more likely in the premier league than in Europe? 

 

I think it's brave from a referee, he will probably get shit from Collina and co.

So stupid. People will (again) moan about the reaction like they did for Klich when Pepe nutted him but you just don't do that in football and expect to get away with it.
