I’m not really getting it from anyway other than easily accessible sources such as the club website. There’s been a lot leave and a lot come into the physio/doctor side in the last 12 to 18 months

Paul Balsom left last year as well. Wasn't he the long time head of sports science and  player conditioning?

To be fair he wasn’t overly involved day to day. He was working more with analytics by the end.

So from what I can gather, this is our current injury list...

Vardy - Mar?

Evans - Apr?

Fofana - Feb/Mar?

Ricardo - Mar/Apr?

Castagne - Mar?

Is that it?

Bertrand - just had an op

in fact, I’d realistically write off Ricardo, Castagne, Evans and Bertrand following their operations this season

Makes me think we should go and get that young right back from Aberdeen for a small £5m. This is the more pressing issue than a centre back now, in my eyes

I'm not sure that Ricardo should have his season written off just yet. His injury was on 22nd Dec and at the time estimated that it was an 8 week recovery. Don't know if that's still the case.

Centre back position has been strengthened with the return of Wilf and signing young talent for smallish fees fits our model whatever position they play.

Why Castagne?

Hearing Vardys injury is worse than first feared and could be out for the season. The person telling me won't reveal his source but I'm sorry to say he's been right about things before. 😔

Incident on the pitch with Van Dyke, wasn't it?

If his source is his gut then he's probably right. Pretty sure we won't see Evans again either this season.

To be fair we have decent options now with Daka and Nacho.

Nope - his hammy which we knew about  …… He could have been taken off before it went for good (which was in the clash with matip)  …. Neither hamza or kel were injured or running the same risk as vards was by staying on ……

It’ll give Daka a chance to establish himself

Patson looked knackered after an hour against Brighton, then hobbled off the pitch :sweating:

Matip, yup sorry. Looked an odd knock but clear it really hurt. Bizarre Vards carried on if hammy was gone.

He wandered around because we had no subs left ….I doubt he did much more damage
