Is it me or is Rodgers wrong about Castagne? He hasn't played loads at all, he's forever in and out through niggling injuries or being unimpressive.

Only outfield players who have played more minutes this season are Soyuncu, Tielemans, Wilf and Maddison

Gotta agree with this.

Some of our fans are coming across very Scouse-like.

I'm not sure what there is to defend...?

He's properly going for us, and I'm not sure what makes us different from any other club. I'd have liked to see us try to play the game, but the rules were brought in to reflect the unprecedented circumstances. I don't really understand why Everton fans are complaining either - gives them more time on the training ground to sort their team out.

I don’t agree with it. When the Norwich game was postponed I was disappointed but didn’t squeal injustice,

nor can I remember anyone else on here squealing injustice, to do so would have been hypocritical. Many

teams have now had games called off at their request including Everton, the hypocrisy is astonishing.

A lot fans are correcting the misinformation that he's stated in his original post that Leicester players going to the Darts had something to do with the games being cancelled.

I don't agree at all. If any club we faced had only 8 outfield players, I'd expect them to want to postpone and I'd think that was fair enough.

Like @Spiritwalker, I wasn't annoyed that the Norwich game didn't go ahead - they had 4 outfield players at the time. I don't get what all the fuss is about.

You’ve only just noticed? We’ve got some of the most ‘offended’ fans going on social media. Don’t know how many teams I read about ‘disrespecting us cos we aren’t in the big six’

He will be made to look a nob if it comes out how many PL squad held Christmas parties. It’s pretty certain that’s what caused Norwich’s outbreak for example

He knows it, too. I heard him on TalkSport mentioning that a player wanted to get a post match interview done quickly to attend a party. Only difference being that the darts attendance was a publicly known thing so he can go all in.

We didn't make anywhere near as much of a fuss when the Norwich game was called off and @dsr-burnley mentioned how much Everton wanted their match at Burnley postponed. They are all at it.

Hahah the best part is that they obviously genuinely believe that.

I'm not a medical man, but I predicted that Rodgers would overuse Evans to the point of injury that would effectively end his career at the highest level.

The sports science staff can only make suggestions, when the manager puts himself over his own players welfare then there's not much that can be done.

You think they'd really publicly announce they've ****ed up?

I'd keep my mouth shut rather than try and BS the fan base. Just like when there was "no problem with our defending from corners".

I don't know it not like there are lot of league games getting call off due to injuries.

Looking at most of the postponements they have been down to injuries then COVID

Lots of team are suffering the same issues with muscle injuries, ours is being made worse by have long term injuries on top.
