Only sort of shock was I suppose the cup holders Arsenal going out in round four though against a good Southampton side alot could see that coming. That's been kind have been kept quiet by the press.

At least Liverpool and Arsenal are out, one of Everton or Spurs will join them before the qf.

If we can get past Brighton, there will be 3 maybe 4 possible ties where we’d be big favourites to go through.

QF predictions for me...

Spurs

Saints

Man City
Us

Bournemouth

Man United

Bristol City

Chelsea

I've picked us, but given we have Liverpool early on the Saturday and we play Sunday before, we will likely be a Wednesday game, so I can see us resting a fair few and that could lead to us faltering.

Brighton have their own priorities too - Burnley just before our game, then Villa after.

Maybe they won't play a strong squad either. Good thing being our '2nd' squad is stronger than theirs...

I fancy Spurs, Southampton, Swansea, Leicester, Burnley, West Ham, Sheff Utd, Barnsley from that lot.

We didn't really get any shocks last round so we must be due a few this time around!

Then we draw Burnley at home, expecations haven't been this high since the Wycombe game. Chris Wood scores a header after 10 mins and we can't find a goal. We then finish the season with relegation form, go down next season and the cycle begins again :D

What a quarter final line up that would be

When will they announce game dates / times / tv channels for the 5th round?

Not sure but we'll definitely be playing on the Wednesday.

Mad that even the Burnley youth players look made for them. If you gave this Glennon lad the number 4 shirt and told me he’d been playing 5 seasons I’d believe you

Burnley playing a weakened side, on the Brighton forum they seem to think they will rest players too. Gotta ask why really? Both are rather safe.
