Has anyone else found that all easy opening packets are anything but? Whether it's ham packets, yoghurts, ready meals or biscuits all the supposed easy opening solutions are now crap. They used to work perfectly and now they are more likely to ruin the packaging than actually open it.

i have very well controlled blood pressure. Until I  try and and open a packet of ANYTHING.

Women can be so shitty to other women.

Out for drinks last night with a mix of male and female mates. Three of the four females have kids, one doesnt by choice yet one of the mums spoke at length about how empty people's lives must be without kids.

What an absolute tw at, imagine the uproar if she was slated for having kids, kind of self questioning my friendship with her today.

i work with an all women team and I can vouch for this. To me, it’s truly bizarre behavior.  It’s almost like some primeval behavior to establish a pecking order.

Now it must be pointed out that in some degree men do the same thing yet differently. We show how manly we can be, ruffle our rooster feathers a bit, etc

I'd have been right in there saying how pointless a person's life must be if their only reason to exist is to reproduce.  Talk about a lack of imagination.

A family friend released her debut album in Australia today and released a new music video also with my cousin in it.

Strange to see someone you know doing this.

Especially on packets of ham, sliced cheese etc.

for some reason the bit your meant to peel from never moves anything. I have to resort to a knife and cling film/tin foil to cover back up every time.

Absolutely this. And bacon. Why can't it be simple?? The tiniest bit of corner that you can't get a grip of. A pack of biscuits that has no discernible tear off strip. Jars of stuff that suggest there's a bit that you can break the seal of but all you break is your thumbnail. Bottles of bleach that you need to have fingers of the worlds strongest man to be able to compress the sides of the top in order to bypass the safety clips.

Why?? We're not all idiots. Who the fvck is going to attempt to poison themselves on cheese or bacon washed down by a mouthful of bleach or toilet duck?

OK maybe there's a safety issue with kids accidentally getting into the cleaning stuff and I accept there needs to be measures in place. When I was a kid my parents kept dangerous stuff away from us because they had intelligence and understanding of the risks and no one ever got sued by their children.

You won’t like it.

She’s singing about white pride, dressed all in leather holding a bacon sandwich in one had, caressing a lump of coal with the other whilst laughing at some poor people next to her.

Used to be so much easier when you could buy scoops of cereal off the market and keep it in your pockets.

When I was a kid and we went to my grandma's for tea, she'd always serve sliced cucumber in vinegar. You never see that anymore. When did people stop doing that?
