True, it was the best time ever and I still get to talk to people about it now, 2015-16 season. 

 

The relegation to League 1 was appalling at precisely the time of relegation, but everything that followed within that season was truly epic.

I've never been a hardened attendee of games throughout my years, but I got to see quite a number of home and away games that season and they were some of my best memories ever. 

 

And having read threads with this 'best memories' theme before, I know so many other posters remember that season fondly, it was kind of the best doss ever. 

Had we not have clinched promotion though...well....it's not worth thinking about. 

 

I'd happily take on any other club's supporter at football club drama, I'm sure I'd win hands down.

Privileged to have been alive for 31 of those years supporting this wonderful club! There’s been some real lows but some unbelievable highs and memories that will make me smile forever! I thought winning league cup in 2000 was as good as it would get! How wrong I was! It’s never boring supporting Leicester and I wouldn’t change it for anything

I was only a kid then but I went absolutely berserk when that went in. Even I knew that bringing Spider Kalac on meant we were heading to penalties.

 

The surprise at the substitution though, followed by what happened next, will always live on. What a moment.

 

(Incidentally, my naive childhood brain felt it somewhat unfair that Nigel Martyn earned a Premiership move that summer and faced off against us for Leeds. My adulthood brain regrettably understands that he was far too good for the second tier.)

2015/16 is of course our greatest moment but I'd say going into administration, and being close to liquidation, was actually worse than relegation to Div 3.
