yes he has given an interview to The Athletic - just reading it now. He found out he had been sacked by Watford when the security guard wouldn't let him in the training ground!

Hope they endure a nice long spell in the championship until the owners sell. Special place for people like that.

He will be in my thoughts. Nigel Pearson made me proud to be Leicester for the first time ever so after this tough time for him there is still a lot to owe afterwards. Legend.

Covid is about to get Pearson'd.

 

Such is the his strength and nous, Nige will come out the other side with super human lung capacity having battled through the respiratory symptoms. He will go on to swim the channel in record time without taking a breath, and will perform a number of experiments on himself, resulting in the production of a lifelong vaccine that can be self-administered for free across the entire planet. 

 

in 2021 he will win the Nobel Peace Prize for saving Mankind from this cvnt of a virus.

He mentions he's had a tough year - he lost his mother suddenly in January, got COVID in March. His son was forced to retire through injury although he's humble enough to accept that he is luckier than many people.

 

He's been living in Devon and spending lots of time in the outdoors inclduing taking up horse riding!

Horse Riding!  The more I read and hear about him the more I understand how much of a legend he is here.

I love that he wears it all on his sleeve. No Bull Sxxt.

Doesn't matter what the wider public think.

We know how important he was to our resurgence from the depths of Division 3 to handing Ranieri the building blocks to finish off the glorious house.

get well soon Nige - not surprised he got COVID, he has a very intimate managerial style and is always joking round and hugging his players and other staff - as others have said COVID stands no chance!

Hope he recovers fully.

 

A hero of the club for setting the foundations for where we are today. I don't mean just the Great Escape season. Going back further to League One days and preparing us to get back up to the Championship and getting players in to set us up to handle the Championship. 

 

Will always be appreciated in Leicester no doubt.

He certainly should be, but there will always be dissenting voices.
