They're out already and are currently losing so they'll want to get their campaign back on track next weekend. Meaning they'll play the reserves.

 

If we play a line up similar to Braga we should comfortably win.

The thing that makes me laugh about this is when we lose to a Man United or Chelsea I bet your moaning and whining like Fuch and have absolutely no interest in talking about who's wage bill massively higher or who we have missing through injury etc.

Slightly different if we had absolutely nothing to play for in our group and they had top spot to play for. That changes the context of this game.

Anyone know where Thomas was today? Injured or just not picked. As others have said with the extra subs in the EL go strong and can then rest and rotate (hopefully) later on in the game. And with Wilf back can go back to the 4-3-3 with Ünder and Harvey providing the width.

Ha, thanks. I've just been through the mill with LCFC over 4 decades so while I enjoy the happy moments, like today, I try and retain a view on the bigger picture.

Think we'll have to go nearly full strength, hopefully if we get 2 or 3 goals ahead we can make some changes and let the first teamers have a rest.

I'm not being picky mearly pointing out that you want to use things like wage bill as a negative when playing aek Athens then you have to use it as a positive when assessing the teams performance this season! 

 

We have the 8th highest wage bill yet sit in 4th place! Our wage bill is approximately a sixth of man United yet we are above them in the leauge. 

 

How about a bit of credit for that?

I don't buy the whole need to win the group thing. Not gonna say no to it but you can easily be out of the tie at the halfway stage if we lose 2-0 away and then go on to concede an early goal at home, or a goal at any time really

 Having played at the very top in a certain sport, you will find it difficult to get there and stay there without being highly critical of self. And ironing out mistakes.  That mentality certainly comes out when Ive watched Leicester grow year on year
