No wriggle room, assuming we lose this. Run rate will come into it. Need to get close to 201. Then need 2 big wins v Oman & Namibia.

The bowling options need to change, although we play at Antigua for the last 2 games.

Topley should get a go, left arm, offers something different, Curran is the same & can bat too.

Gonna be important to try and bat first in the next two and get big scores

Aussies can go into the last game v Scotland knowing exactly how many they’d need to win by to send England home on NRR (provided Scotland beat Oman).

I’m not sure Australia are too concerned about England to be fair … letting Scotland through just gives one of the other top teams a bye

Just seems a ridiculous tournament so far. Part time stadiums/pitches, shoehorned into a schedule. Tiny scores even by big nations.

Then we get on to England, why am I still seeing players from 10 years ago?

Theres at least 5 players in the blast at the minute who should be in this squad.

Unfortunate that the early pace couldn't be maintained.

If Scotland get closer to the Aussies than England do - and that's assuming they beat Oman by similar or larger margin than England do - then they deserve to go through.

Should still expect England to qualify IMO.

Why tf did we choose to have a bowl first anyway.

England are set in their ways & prefer chasing. I'd be more concerned about playing Wood & Archer on a pitch that cried out for 'pace off'. Poor management & cricket IQ.

Poor decision making today from Butler, bowling first was not a good decision on this pitch. Letting a part time bowler, bowl in second over which was the most expensive conceded in the whole match, being what just over 3 overs in we're already allowed Australia to knock up 50 without no wicket, you know it's going to be a long afternoon. Getting 200 was always a tough ask but a really slow period between 7th over and 15th where we only manager to score 20 runs, playing some pointless weak singles when desperately needed fours and sixes. Too much slowness and players treating it like a 50 over matching, thinking playing it safe and take their time. Bairstow was in for about half an hour yet only made 7 runs... poor whilst Ali who not his biggest fan of managed to make 23 in less that time.

Poor tactics all round from us. Jonny, Livingstone and Jordan shouldn't be there. Topley would be top of my list and I'd have gone with Duckett and Dawson.

Luckily, that's me done watching England out here.

So well supported.

Hope their form picks up.

Our cricketing numbers around the world for virtually every match in each format is astonishing.

I know you can go to some great places but the time and effort required is huge.
