Kane has won nothing with Spurs, individual awards and records are nice, but football is a team game and Kane with Spurs and England has nothing. Leicester have 2 major trophies and 2 other trophies since Kane's time here.

Rivalries are born from going toe to toe, be it over silverware, local bragging rights and one upmanship. 
 

We’ve had a handful of games in the past  5 years against teams within the East Midlands teams. 
 

Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Peterborough, Coventry City, Northampton Town, Mansfield Town, Burton, Chesterfield and Notts County have all largely been as relevant as Coalville Town during this period. 
 

If and it’s a big if, Forest manage to stay in the league, it’ll develop. Outside of the midlands and even the world, Forest are viewed a bit like Blackburn. Once we’re successful but that was years ago. We’d be the same if we fell away. 
 

That’ll never happen to Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Juventus etc etc

I always say that I’ve never met a Leicester fan as desperate for a rivalry with Nottingham Forest who’s as desperate as a Forest fan to inform us that they don’t care about us. We’ve been outperforming Forest and Derby for the best part of 30 years now. Our lack of a rival hasn’t stopped us winning two League Cups, the Premier League and an FA Cup and playing in Europe. 
 

This rivalry thing doesn’t define us as a club like it does a Derby or Forest fan and, in my view, it never should. That would give either club a relevance that neither deserve
