How many of those 8k will reach the fans? Sure someone claimed a while ago that 2k would get creamed off.

Your guess is as good as mine. Isn't 2k of the 8k in the last league game going to corporate ticket holders?

That's where I heard about 2k, so same will apply to final tickets I assume.

Surely it has to go on priority?

Yeah 100%, people who have put the miles in should get full priority for the tickets. A ballot system would be nonsensical.

It's not all corporate, club Wembley has changed things but a large amount of tickets is usually distributed to all clubs that entered, local FAs and referees, I think the majority of this year's allocation will go to the club's

It's a unique situation, hopefully the club would speak to the fan representative groups to gauge their thoughts. I would expect a top tier of fans as defined by priority points then when it gets to a level where there are too many in that band / total to all get one there would be a ballot.

It will be about who you know rather than fan points. I know loads of people. None of them can get me a ticket to Wembley though unfortunately.

When we were in the community cup game, (friendly I know) all season ticket holders could buy on the same day IIRC, someone on here said it was technically a neutral ground so away points didn’t really count.

If the club took this view then we would all be lumped in a hat for a handful of tickets.

Anyone who went to Norwich (fa cup ticket fiasco), Man Utd (2016) and Bruges and bought them all from the points criteria and has been to almost all the games since should be in with a shout however we know that’s not always the case and tickets seem to disappear.

So a lottery for a handful if any at all go to the fans.

Can't see many of the "real" fans getting tickets.

Compare this to the 4 playoffs in the 1990's when we had 35-40000 fans there each time.

Sady, the best option for nearly everyone will be pub or BBQ round your mate's house ... and lots of BEER.

no matter how its done there is going to be arguments and disappointment.

We just need to take a deep breath and realise how rare this final is for us and enjoy the occasion.

You can count them.

I personally don’t think it’ll go on points, more than likely a ballot.

I agree, they will do some kind of lottery system.

If there is tickets to go around won’t it be a ballet of those who paid their £70 to commit to the club their purchase of a season ticket as isn’t it usually season ticket holders first, and possibly those who have had their second jab.

It can’t be based on who has had the second jab as that’s discriminating you against your age, I have only just had my first last week, lots on here won’t have had that one yet.

Has to go on Away priority points. Elitist opinion but how else can it be fair

Priority has taken years to build up for some people.

It’s not elitist in the slightest. Thats how it should be.

Not even elitist Ash, it's the only way it should be.

I do agree. Would agree whether I wasn’t in top priority as well. Reward the fans that have put the hard yards in. I would be pissed off if someone who got a season ticket last season got a ticket ahead of myself because it’s been done on a ballot, even though that’s how I think they’ll do it.

I saw an exchange on here at the start of last season, where @fsdss asked lcfc about changing the lowest away priority points level to 300+. The response from lcfc was interesting as they said in their response that 'there are nearly 5000 people in the bracket, as it stands'. Their argument being that there were normally a maximum of 3000, so the lowest level didn't need to be lower, as usually sold out to the almost 5000 eligible buyers. The almost 5000 number is interesting, as at that point, I think you could have had 300 points with no away games, 'just' 6 years of season tickets. I thought there would be more people with 6 years worth of season tickets....

Depending on what the amount of tickets for fans is, it could definitely be fair to release a normal match day allocation of 3000 on a priority basis, and then ballot the rest. This would ensure that people who go to a decent amount of games year in, year out can get tickets if they want, and then other season ticket holders still have a chance of tickets. Or possibly push priority to cover 5000 to cover that entire group, then ballot the rest?

I’m getting my second in just over a week. It can absolutely be only those who’ve had their second jab lol

Fairest way is a ballot.  I live in Glasgow and have not missed a home game in over 6 years (600 mile round trip).  I do not manage away games due to cost.  I know people that buy away tickets just to get priority points and sell the tickets and dont even go themselves.  Due to my location I am not loyal enough 🤔🤔🤔

I have 2 season tickets for me & my lads to share, struggled to get tickets to away games for years as those with more priority points will always get first choice,  ballot/draw would be a fair way of distributing tickets for the final, I let 2 of my lads go up for the final game when we won the league so it’s my turn and being at Wembley to watch us win the FA Cup would be a dream come true... :scarf:
