Honestly starting to think the two XIs he's put out this season are a message to the club to start backing him. Amartey has been a great servant but he shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line up except in an injury crisis. The club need to ****ing back Rodgers.

The club have backed Rodgers, that’s why we have no money to spend.

Every game that Rodgers set the team up like this with Ndidi in the team playing hide and seek, I vote “out” for Rodgers. Sick of this kind of blindsided-ness and set up. If you want to play possession based football, use players who want the ball and are comfortable on the ball. I don’t want to wait til Ndidi gets injured before we play Praet, Mendy or Soumare in that position.

Really? Surely the difference would be the usual negative tactics along with Amarteys inability to properly mark. Add the fact our useless twat of a keeper who tries to catch a cross one handed.

Think you will find that was the difference.

Disagree, Martineli and Jesus ripped us apart. Arsenal look a good team, play some lovely football

Ignoring how poor Evans and Fofana were?

Why does daka seem scared to run with the ball when he's absolutley rapid.

He lacks a bit of control … hopefully he will improve.

Where's Soyuncu, Iheanacho, Preat? All good players, all signed before him.

Ok, let's look at players signed under Rodgers, players he's been "backed" with, where's Daka? Soumare? Vestergaard? Bertrand? Perez?

He's been backed, he's signed players, yet we have a higher percentage of players starting who were here before him, than who he signed.

Perhaps there's a reason the club aren't backing him.

Now, if the club weren't going to sack him at the end of last season then yes they need to back him, but they've done neither.

I think they want him to walk, by doing that it's going to damage the club far more than what it'll cost to sack Rodgers.

I'll say it again, we wrote this season off before it even started.

I like him. Just wish he'd try and run past folk more instead of turning back in. But then that's what our entire team do tbf. So must be something in player instructions.

Hopefully he walks soon, if Lampard gets sacked at Everton can see him ending up there.

He was backed. Everyone he had us sign is now trying to be shipped out this summer lol

the reason he can't sign anyone is because we have 4 or 5 players he wanted on big money we can't shift, hopefully the owners get sick of his digs in the media and do what they should have done a couple of months ago...

Honestly the result was not unexpected. Rodgers should be judged more on how he performs against the likes of brentford and the southampton game coming up. Arsenal are clearly far ahead of us as a team.

Absolutely agree. If he stays, he'll take us down. The club must be looking for a replacement. As soon as they find one he's gone.

Got our A team defence available including little Wes and a keeper that can catch the ball …   and Wilf in front ….  so why are we shipping so many goals ??? ….   don’t forget if we hadn’t let a goal in we would have won 2 nil in both games  ..  and that’s without Barnes and Ricky ….  why ???

They are but that doesn’t mean you can’t be difficult to beat. When was the last time anyone said that about us? We are softer than soft

Yeah, that fact is no reflection on Brendan at all…
